It is a small 16-cover eatery on the mezzanine floor of a residential building; the ground floor houses a tiny reception area and a glass-walled kitchen. Up a flight of wooden stairs, the white and red interiors of the dining area – with its floor-to-ceiling glass wall overlooking the street outside – are minimalist (almost austere) with four neatly arranged tables (for fours) with bright red chairs. However, the menu here – which focuses on Chinese and Thai – is quite impressive and packs in a few fantastic options. Try the roast pork in chilli soy sauce or the pan-fried chilli fish; their signature fried rice loaded with chicken, pork, shrimps and fried egg is quite good. Here, do not expect authenticity. This is the kind of Chinese the city loves; go for tasty food.
