A typical and classic restaurant look and feel with trendy furniture and colour scheme is what makes this place very comfortable to dine in. It is perfect for friends and large families or even a quiet dinner for two inside one the cabanas lined up by one of the walls. The food is nothing but delicious. The menu is multi cuisine and the Indian section has a fantastic variety of options. Their kababs are soft and tender and simply mouth watering. The Grilled Fish from the continental section is a must have with soft and buttery grilled fish coated in a bit of lemon and mustard and served with seasonal exotic vegetables. For dessert, Montecarlo with its layers of chocolate sponge and chocolate ice cream with praline is set to take away all your sorrows ad lift you up to heaven.
Food is good, the tandoori prawn was awesome. No complaints on the service and the food served. they were amazing
This has been a favourite for a long time now! Our pick for every family dinner, Stadel never disappoints. The food, ambience, and service are all upto the mark. We have almost always opted for babycorn and soup as starters, and dal makhni, malai kofta, paneer as main course. All these dishes are delicious!
It was during last May (2015) I visited First Innings for the very first time with my elder brother, on an overall it was a good experience. The food quality was average, it can be tagged as good considering the price at which they are offering. The restaurant is situated at Stadel Hotel and near Rasam. So Valet parking was available there. Overall set up and interior of restaurant was really good, I liked it. Since we were hungry, after going through Rasam, we opted to try main course instead of giving starters any try. They have 'family naan' which was really impressive (well mainly considering the quantity). For two people there is a lot of quantity provided in 'Family Naan'.
First Innings at the Stadel Hotel is the worst restaurant I've visited in my life! The ratings on Zomato were kind of okay so we decided on it since we were at Inox Swabhumi and wanted to dine at a place close by. There were no reviews on Tripadvisor though. The service is pathetic; like totally unacceptable. We had to ask for onions like literally ten times before they actually got them for us. The service was horrible and sluggish and when there were breads on our table, there was no dal and curry and vice versa. So you can well imagine how we got through our dinner. And the kids wanted pasta and the pasta was so so bad that it was just not edible, it was way too spicy, and we had to get it changed and the freshly made one also wasn't up to the mark. We were 10 people in all and each one of us were so annoyed and irritated by the end of dinner that we couldn't wait to get home. The ambience was okayish, nothing great. There wasn't much crowd in spite of it being a Sunday and they still couldn't handle orders, I wonder what kind of service will they provide if they have all their tables full. But I doubt this place will ever receive so many guests. Go to some food court and gorge on Mc Donald's burgers, rather than waste your time and money on this restaurant. The 7000 bucks that we had to pay was such a total waste. It was just not worth it. I haven't seen and tasted such pathetic paneer preparations, I could prepare a better meal at home any day, as compared to what we were served here. Please avoid this place. Go and eat at home instead!
This place is very high on my eating out list. The decor is classy and sophisticated. The staffs are courteous. They have free valet parking so it is fuss free.Food is awesome and at around Rs. 600 per head (weekday lunch, I think weekend lunch is a little costlier) it is superlative. I really like the cream of mushroom soup, the pasta, grilled fish etc. The butter chicken is also too good.Try this restaurant if you are looking for a classy meal at leisure.
