Went for bengali new year's bengali thali. It consists of 8-10 total food items and all dishes taste really good. Good bengali food  preparation. I personally liked their diamond fish fry with kasundi and chatni. The only point they should keep the dining place a little attractive and the wash basin clean.

Food was good.
I liked their peas daal.
Paneer was just OK.
Mishthi doi was tasty.
Quantity of each item is very less though.

Well, Kasturi was a great place previously. Recently when we visited the place, I was astonished by the quality of the product. We ordered Fish Kabiraji & Gondhoraj Chicken Strips. The Fish Kabiraji was really sour I don't know why. It felt like the batter that they used to make the Kabiraji was sour due to which the total taste was a disappointment. The Gondhoraj Chicken Fry was a bit better than the Kabiraji.

It is disappointing but, I won't recommend any Fish Kabiraji lovers to visit this place.

The service was bit inconsistent because of crowd . The staff is courteous, and the food arrives relatively quickly, though there might be delays when the restaurant is crowded.

Overall, Kasturi Jadavpur is a go-to spot for anyone looking to enjoy hearty, flavorful, and authentic Bengali cuisine specially during food festivals and offers.While the ambiance is basic, the food quality and reasonable prices make up for it.

KASTURI (Jadavpur) a fish lovers paradise .Famous for their amazing fish recipes. Few days back we ordered
1.Shorshe Pabda
2.Shorshe Pomfret
3. Jumbo Prawn Malaikari
All the dishes were delicious and unique too. The fishes were fresh. The mustard gravy of the first two recipes were  a bit hot ???, but the Prawn Makaikari was sweet and tasty with creamy coconut texture. The Pabda fish was quiet big . The packaging was good.Definitely recommend this place .

One of the best authentic Bengali Restaurant in Jadhavpur located just 2 min walking from 8B Bus stand. Place is located in very good location and spacious. Dining place is compact and fully AC. Last but not the least Quality of the food is awesome. I really appreciate the Fish and the Mutton item, classic, must taste. Thalis are great and quantity is very well balanced for one to two persons. Loved the dining experience.

Great bengali cuisine located near 8b busstand of Jadavpur. parking available for two wheeler. Every food is really fantastic. home delivery is available. I am very satisfied!
