Quite a hit with youngsters in the area, this quaint café right across the City Centre 1 in Salt Lake, has two sections – a cheery coffee shop with wooden floors and walls lined with colourful photographs of streets, cafes and people from across the world and a stone statue of Buddha (a little abrupt) and an inner, lounge section with sink in sofas, ambient lighting and a large screen (for live sports streaming on match days) reserved for their popular sheesha service. The menu, heavy on quick bites, is standard with bankable selection of Continental and Chinese dishes. The crisp fried chicken that comes with a cornflakes crust is a good pick. Plus, they turn out a few good shakes and coolers.
Le coffee creme, which is located right opposite to Bhikaram near City Center 1 is a nice place to chill. This place has two seating areas, including one where hookah is available. I have visited this place multiple times. I like their salads, especially the Italian salad. Their sweet corn soup is also good. They also serve decent coffee. The service is quick and the staff responds quickly with the help of the call device available at every table. A meal for two is 500 and above.
You know the places where you get a hunch that it will be an awful experience the minute you step in but still decide to give it a go to then realize it was just as bad as you feared it would be? Le Coffee Creme is exactly that kind of place. There are two sections to this cafe. The frontal section is the 'quiet' part if you consider an old buzzing refrigerator that churns out an annoying sound 'quiet'. The inside area has music at full blasts and we soon realized it is a place where youngsters come to meet each other (I think mostly via eye and hand movements because it is impossible to hear anyone speak in the loud pumping music). Oh, I almost forgot to mention the 'cappuccino'. It tasted like a weak nescafe with hot milk in it. Not Recommended.
Went with friends but the food was not at all tasty. Alio Olio pasta was extremely spicy and the soup had some non veg sauce in it.staff was courteous enough to change and get soup of our choice. Pizza was nice.
The coffee is really bad and so is the food. Had been to this place a couple of years back and went again a few days back but nothing has changed.
Was here recently for the launch of the New Italian Menu. The food was mediocre, but the ambience is good for a group of friends.
