The young owner, Sneha Singhi, is a certified pâtisserie chef from Le Cordon Bleu Paris, has interned under Pierre Herme and has had a short stint at Laduree, London. She has invested all that she has learnt in the chocolate-filled éclairs (topped with chocolate and praline crumble), decadent strawberry tart and macaroons on offer at her 17-cover Paris-style boulangerie cum pâtisserie. It is a stylish little place done predominantly in gold, with ornate chandeliers, vintage mirrors and photo frames and pretty wrought iron tables and chairs. A replica of the Eiffel Tower outside is an endearing touch. Other than sweet and savoury confections, there are crépes, pancakes, panini sandwiches (especially popular) and a range of shakes and smoothies. However, this place serves vegetarian fare only (eggetarian actually).
For the desert lover it is fine destination to taste wonders of deserts. Ambience & architecture may give you feeling of paris. Rainbow cake is crown of all desert.
Tiny cramped little pretentious place serving reheated frozen vegetarian apology of European food. Best avoided.
Good ambiance. ...Good food.....good coffee and good service. This little cafe id the first of three other in Kolkata. The decor of the cafe is really spectacular and it does give you an European sensation. Food and coffee are really good!!!
The spaghetti in this cafe is super delicious. There are deserts, coffee and also shakes to try from. The maccaroons are too sweet though.
if you need good pastries but with a difference then this is the place to be. Its muffins and cheese cakes are an absolute must have. Its a quiet and placid place where you can spend some quality time enjoying the delicacies. Very good coffee is on offer. they play good music so all in all a must visit place.
