Food is super delicious. That Borishali Chingri Polao, I can't even explain the taste ? Chingri Polao with methi chicken, the heavenly duo. Gondhoraj Chicken Fry, is too good ? even the rosomalai is also good.
Staffs are also good and responsive. Their service is really quick.

Had an amazing experience at Sorse Posto! The food quality was very good, especially the authentic Bengali flavors. Every dish was fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of traditional taste. The ambience was warm and comfortable, making it a great place for family dining.
The staff were very polite, attentive, and ensured quick service. Portion sizes were generous and totally worth the price. If you love authentic Bengali cuisine with great hospitality, this restaurant is definitely a must-visit. Highly recommended! ?

One of those places that serves Bengali cousine at reasonable price. One of the key highlights of this place is most of the staff are woman, which makes it unique in itself. The menu is mainly of Bengali cousine, variety of Thali option is available, both veg and non veg menu is there, a long list to choose from. I had visited 2 times and had enjoyed both visits equally. The food quality is very good compared to the pricing. If you're looking for pocket friendly place for Bengali food, then it is highly recommended.

? Sorshe Posto (Gariahat Golpark) — A Taste of Tradition & Warm Hospitality ?

We recently visited Sorshe Posto for an Aaiburobhat celebration, lovingly organized by me and my wife for a dear friend. The restaurant truly elevated the experience — they beautifully decorated the thali with fresh flowers and thoughtfully provided all the traditional essentials, including a pradip, adding a soulful Bengali touch to the occasion.

The food was exceptional. We opted for the Aaiburobhat Special Thali, and it was not only beautifully presented but also generously portioned — easily sufficient for two people. Every dish reflected authentic Bengali flavours and homely warmth.

Service was smooth and efficient — our food arrived within just 5 minutes of ordering. The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the Barishali Chingri Polao — rich, aromatic, and absolutely divine.

Overall, Sorshe Posto perfectly blends tradition, taste, and hospitality. A must-visit for anyone seeking a truly authentic Bengali dining experience.

Thanks Sorshe posto for this dinner on this special occasion. Again we visit here, Thanks a lot again.

Absolutely loved the experience!
This restaurant truly captures the authentic essence of Bengali cuisine. From the aroma of the spices to the rich, homely flavors, every dish felt like a taste of Bengal itself. The food was fresh, perfectly balanced, and reminded me of traditional home-cooked meals. The hospitality was equally heart-warming—polite, attentive, and welcoming. A must-visit place for anyone who loves soulful Bengali food. Will definitely come back again!
