This was one of the most awaited entries on the city’s restaurant scene. But when the New York-based resto-pub debuted in the Forum Mall in September last year, the response was underwhelming. Things got rolling when they finally acquired a liquor license in January. The 140-cover outfit done in wood, glass and metal with spread-out, comfy seating around the central island bar has just the right vibes for a chill-out zone. The spread is typical Tex-Mex and American pub grub. Try the 'Meat Lovers Pizza' (generously loaded with minced meat, pepperoni, crunchy bacon and cheese) or go for the imported 'Baby Back Ribs' smothered with a slightly sweet Jack Daniel’s spiked sauce and served with crisp 'Cajun-spiced Onion Rings' – easily their best dishes.
If any Foodie wants to Eat and Dine without minding his Pocket then visit to this Eatery is a must. Variety of Continental Dishes are available here. Lovely ambience ,Spacious and TV is paced all around. I enjoyed the 5th ODI of INDIA vs NEW ZEALAND. . Located in Forum Mall . Service is great and Waiters are cordial. Personal Attention is given. TGIF maintains it's food preparation as I had visited on Various Occassion in DELHI & GURUGRAM.
Great wholesome food, hearty cocktails, nice jovial ambience and an excellent loyalty program...TGI is one of my favorite for quality food and experience. Grilled Norwegian salmon and baby pork ribs are the best offerings here
Wanna enjoy a real pub in American style......catch up with "TGI FRIDAYS". Co-incidentally i was over there on Friday Night Only. The ambiance is full house American.Must Try Lamb Preparations & the High-stool.
Sharing our recent experience with TGI Friday. We had dropped in for a dinner on a Saturday around 10 pm. The person who attended us at the entrance asked us to wait for a while, he ascertained us that he will be able to provide us with a table while we were talking about going to some other restaurant as it was quite late. We waited for approx.. 10 mins. After which we were led to a table for two. A few minutes later while we made ourselves comfortable and was waiting for someone to take our order, a staff member approached us saying that the couple who were sitting at the table prior to us had not left and wanted to sit at the table again. He told us that we have "to get up" and move to a different table. We were frankly quite shocked and asked him that one of them has given us this table, we didn’t walk on our own and occupied it, moreover the table was empty, their staff cleaned it infront of us and told us to sit there. But this person named ‘Trijit” kept on repeating himself and said it was a mistake from their end. We told him that if it was a mistake from their end then why don’t they explain that to the other guests and offer them an alternative table instead of telling us to get up. He said in return that the other guest wants to sit “ONLY” in this table and kept on repeating himself, extremely unapologetically. When we asked to see the manager he said he is the one. On realising the futility of getting our point across, we decided to leave the place and told him that this was the worst possible thing that he could say to a patron to get up and move, he seemed unmoved. Customer service is the backbone of hospitality industry and restuarants like these are putting it to shame. This restaurant clearly doesn’t value their customer and neither believe in the fact that “one customer that walks out unhappy leads to the loss of many potential customers.” So are we going to visit TGI Friday ever and encourage anyone we know…the answer is clear…NEVER! Specially when there are so many other/new and really worthy of praise in all aspects are available.
Be it food, ambiance or service, TGIF is surely one of the Best Resto-pub in Park Street area of Kolkata. Food is a bit costly but the quality and taste justify the price.
