The Wall was perhaps the first freestanding Pan Asian restaurant in the city that offered a wide-ranging Japanese spread. The restaurant (an enterprise of Savourites Hospitality who also own the specialty Bengali restaurant chain 6 Ballygunge Place) launched in 2007 with an extensive menu designed by Chef Sushanta Sengupta (also one of the owners) that had dishes from across the Far East. The focus however, was on Japanese food, and their tempuras and yakitori continue to pull crowds. The Nigiri sushi (salmon, tuna, prawn or crab stick) comes especially recommended. However, the menu moves beyond Japanese to include everything from Indonesian nasi goreng and Vietnamese vegetable rolls to fantastic Thai crab cakes and perennial favourites such as la mai kai. Plus, try the duck five spice, it is good.
Good food. Nice Ambience. Good Service. Moderately priced Buffet. Suitable for small Get-Together . Location is also good
We are fairly regular visitors to The Wall. Pleasing to find that the standard of food and service remains very good likewise with the ambience
Recently visited this place, at one instance looks like simple restaurant, after wards it seems nice coz there hospitality. And we have ordered non veg item like prawn, fish and chicken, taste is awesome and cost is bit higher but it is worth, at first we didn't get idea what we have to ordered, but Mr Rajeev helped us, he ordered as per requirements our main interest to taste Kolkata famous cuisine, this hotel is worth visit, very nice one, but cost is some what higher side,
It's just awesome..... Not much very popular but it's a part of famous 6, ballygunge place resturant chain. It's mainly for Japanese cuisines. In puja time the food quality is very good. Not degraded. It's really a hidden jem. Food lovers must go there to taste. Location is nearby to desapryio Park.
One of the most delicious Chinese cuisine tasted with great variety. The ambience is also good. The starters are a must try.
