This place is a regular hotspot for corporates in the area who are looking for an elaborate but value-for-money meal. Even regular diners are in for a surprise as the buffet offerings change daily. Corn and Dahi Tikki, Paneer Tikka and Vegetarian Falafel are delightful starters for the vegetarian palate. Non-Vegetarians have a lot more to choose from – Chicken, Prawns, Fish and Mutton. Tandoori Fish and Afghani Mutton Seekh are worth a try. The prawns served are fresh and succulent. One cannot do justice to the main course after indulging in the never-ending array of starters. Desserts are worth saving one’s appetite for as there is a lot to choose from. The Phirni here is creamy and delicious and definitely not-to-be-missed if it is served the day you are dining. The polite and courteous staff deserves a mention even though the service gets slow at times.
Excellent working lunch, not the the Executive who wants a 3 course meal, wine and cigar, Down to earth good food, the waiter was excellent keep us entertained, and well supplied with starters for our table barbecue, all the staff were friendly, the restaurant is well liked and popular,. The chicken, shrimp, fish, lamb was all excellent, if your in the area want a good meal, been well attended to, good ambiance, good friendly staff you cannot go far wrong here, it’s worth a try.
I love the individual barbecue in each table and the ability to cook the food to your own taste. In addition to the skewers of chicken, prawns, fish and vegetables there are also lots of additional starters which are just served to the table - lamb, sweet corn and more fish. This time the supply of skewers seemed to dry up as more tables were filled and we never got to the point of "Surrendering" as we just got no more offerings. After the starter skewers there is a buffet of main courses and deserts but we only had room for some small deserts. There is a good selection of beers, wines and cocktails but the wine we wanted off the wine list wasnt available so we were given an alternative. The whole meal with wine and beer will be approx 1500-2000 rupees depending on how much beer and wine you have.
The concept of Barbeque Nation is great - have a mini barbeque in the middle of your table to finish off pre-cooked skewers of meat, fish, fruit or vegetables. The barbeque skewers are only the starters but they keep coming as long as you can eat them - chicken, basa, prawns, mushrooms, peppers - plus other starters such as potatoes, lamb, fish etc. All of the food was excellent with the right amount of spice/heat and the non skewer dishes were great as well. Unfortunately for us, we were so full after the starters we couldnt manage any main courses and just had some deserts which again were very good. The service was excellent and it was a suberb experience - and the Sula wine went very well with the food.
The concept of ‘eat till you drop’ reached fairly late in India. It’s more of an American trend that has made all-you-can-eat buffets so infamous all over the world. The idea is a person can eat as much as he want for a fixed price. Diners are encouraged for gluttony and plates towering with food are not frowned upon at places like these. Coming to the legendary brand that is responsible for giving this trend a foothold in the country, ‘Barbeque Nation’. Since its arrival, the brand has grown tenfold and today, boasts of numerous outlets in every major city in India. Mumbai alone has over thirteen outlets, including the one in Millenium Business Park, Mahape. Being a spacious family-oriented place, Barbeque Nation is highly sought after by large groups.
Buffet remains their chief draw even today. Seeing a party of ten dining here is a common sight. Mood is always chirpy here, go someplace else if you desire for some quiet time. What makes Barbeque Nation so popular is two factors – live grills and pre-fix bill. Each table comes with a small live grill, where you can try your hand being a chef, by twisting and turning the appetizers to your liking. Another feather in their cap is ‘pre-fix bill’, which ensures you to eat as much as you want for a fixed price. Dig into various kebabs, tikkas, seekh kebabs and tandoori starters for your first course. For the second one however, you will be able to relish an array of curries, breads, biryani, noodles and gravies. Food is good and wholesome. Feel like some bonding time with family? Bring them to Barbeque Nation.
To satisfy your sweet tooth they offer, gulab jamun, brownie, pastries, ice creams and fresh fruits. You can even pick your favourite flavour from their live kulfi counter. Outlets of Barbeque Nation are known for their welcoming vibe, enhanced by inviting wooden interiors and a cheerful rambunctious ambience. Low faux brick walls circle the dining tables, dividing the dining space neatly into smaller sections. Low wooden tables are flanked by cushioned settee, on which you can recline in comfort. Look is earthy, informal and cozy, ideal for families. A place you can laugh and talk loudly with your friends and enjoy a meal unhampered with politeness. It’s not too heavy on your pockets either.
If you haven’t yet made a plan for for a Special Occasion then buck up and book a table at Barbeque Nation. This beloved family-style dining restaurant is a huge favorite with every foodie. If you are with someone who loves food as much as you do then Barbeque Nation will be your best bet. Try the outlet at Kopar Khairane in Navi Mumbai. The experience would be a delicious one where you would be treated to a luxurious multi-cuisine buffet and the fun idea of live grills per table. Did we tell you, you could eat as much as you want for a fixed price?
