The pulsating vibe of this place is infectious. A great place for relaxing with a beer in the afternoon or for a meal with friends or family at night. The selection of music is undoubtedly a highlight. The varied menu has something for every palate. Of course, the high point here are the beers, spirits, sangrias and cocktails. It is a treat to watch the bartenders at work as they engage you in conversation. The indulgent 'Potato Cheese Shots' pair well with drinks. Non-vegetarians can relish the 'Barbequed Chicken Satay'. The juicy 'Lamb Seekh Kababs' from the Tandoor section are worth-a-try as these are well-spiced and robust. The wraps, burgers and pizza here are extremely popular. The 'Philadelphia Cheesecake' is a treat for dessert lovers as it is delicious but not overly sweet. Service is quick and efficient and the staff exceedingly helpful. This place has vegan options too. The all-day breakfast here is a must-have.
Being a British Indian and having tried this place I can honestly say the food is very poor (a one star). The place is nice hence the 2 star and the staff try but the food is why we came and given the very high quality of food in Mumbai - I cannot understand how people can rate this place. Tasteless, everything fried, even the pizza looks like a frozen base! Won’t be back.
This is a good place for starters and some beer. You can place your order from the tablets provided on the table. Music was really good.
A nice place to visit, eat, chat and drink. Walkable from the Leela. The only bit British is the decorations and the Shepherds pie (which is excellent). Not a bad beer and wine selection.
BBC has been a revelation A place u ought to be in Excellent dishes Lovely service Unimaginable hospitality WOW, a time so well spent Absolute VALUE!!
Nice place for a few beers with colleagues when in Mumbai. They have quite a few choices and food is alright. Chicken is the thing to pick. I ll be back
What does it take for a simple beer affair to turn into something special? The unique flavour or the grub accompanied with it? At gastropubs, you can celebrate both. A glass of lovely amber brew comes in handy now and then but if you head to a gastropub you can enjoy the pleasures of unwinding with brew with good wholesome grub. If you feel so inclined, try booking a table at Mumbai’s favorite brew destination ‘British Brewing Company’. This chic microbrewery could easily become your favorite watering hole, as it is not only warm and welcoming, it is trendy as well. It’s a good spot to catch up with your friends over beers or even hangout alone nursing your drink, watching your game. Find the brewery tucked on Andheri Kurla Road, Andheri East, Mumbai.
British Brewing Company takes an insane amount of pride in its bar selection, which simply overspills with a vast variety of beers. If you want to be adventurous, ask for whatever is on the tap. Other than an extensive variety of hard liquors, they also do great cocktails. Imbibe a few before moving onto the shots. People drinking alone can sit at the bar and nurse their beers. Food wise, their menu is all encompassing. Expect everything from Continental to American to European to Italian but most surprising of all is their British section. Try, juicy lamb seekh kebab, cottage cheese skewers, butter garlic prawns, spinach & mushroom pinwheel, bruschetta, kheema pao, paneer tikka and hot cheesy logs. Main course is a compilation of dishes like, south-west chicken wrap, submarine veg sandwich, Mediterranean pizza, pasta in pink sauce, country side chicken burger, traditional fish & chips and Thai red curry.
Tickle your sweet tooth silly with an assortment of desserts such as, sizzling brownie, caramel custard, Philadelphia cheesecake and gooey chocolate. The place also keeps vegan options for those who are interested. Service is prompt and smooth. Bill won’t be too hefty, so indulge freely. Interiors of British Brewing Company are made to put you at ease and attract your senses. The wall of glass windows pours in the ample sunlight washing an earthy casual room with a soft glow. During the evening, the microbrewery becomes a lively yet laid-back scene for bar-hoppers. The old-fashioned element of the décor re-emphasizes the British theme. Sit in their outdoor section for a breezy night out.
