This colourful and quirky bistro cum bar is the perfect place to relax and rejuvenate enjoying heady cocktails and delicious bites from a comprehensive menu. Open all day, this place offers a breakfast buffet too. The bartender is known for his innovative streak and creates fun cocktails á la minute. Their cocktails infused with spices, herbs and even bacon, are hugely popular as are the smoked ones. The presentation of the cocktails is painstakingly done and that adds to the appeal. The drinks here are pocket-friendly. Being a bistro, the food is surprisingly good even though cocktails are the focus here. Potato wedges with lamb keema, prawn tempura and crisp base soya keema chaat are worth munching on. Equally delectable is the wild spinach and coconut soup. For those who are ravenous, there are biryanis and curries as part of the meals section on the menu too.
Great drinks & a lovely staff that ensures you're well looked after, decent food options as well although the breakfast menu definitely has room for strengthening (especially the stuff as part of the Hotel breakfast buffet, that's really passe) A nice outdoor area to enjoy the weather ensures that Toast is one of the places where one can soak in the Mumbai atmosphere in a chilled out way.
Toast is a stone's throw from the Airport Road Metro station. Ambience is decent and the staff is really helpful and cheerful. Decent cocktails, and the food was okayish. The bowl of vegetable noodles was nice though.
Located less than 50m from the Airport Road metro station, it is easy to access this outlet located on the 8th floor of T24 Residency. The outlet is small but has more of a relaxed and modern theme to it. They have an outdoor section as well. Spacing of the tables is quite good considering the area. Service is really good and fast. The manager Abhijeet is a cheerful and helpful guy. Ambience is decent, but not great. Food 1 Jalapeño Poppers - Crisp fried Poppers, which are quite plump in size and are served with a cocktail sauce. Delicious. 2. Hariyali Paneer Tikka - Amazing paneer starter. Soft and fresh paneer in a coriander and mint marinade. Amazing. 3. Lasooni Chicken Tikka - Apparently this is their most ordered starter. It was really good, though slightly more garlicky in taste than I would have liked. 4. Fish Amritsari - Simple nugget sized pieces of fish batter fried. Not being a fan of seafood, I found this starter to be decent. 5. Chicken in Oyster Sauce - Sweet, Tangy, Spicy. Everything you'd expect from a Chinese starter. Top notch. Sat outdoors and it was cool even on a hot summer day. Friendly staff and ready to recommend. We ate shrimp popcorn, laal maas and kulfi falooda- delicious, done well. Looking forward to going again soon.
The ambience is quite good. The people are friendly. However the food is just about average and the service is very slow. We were a group of four for lunch at a time when there were only four other people in the entire restaurant. Our drinks came along with our food. All we had ordered was a watermelon juice and a pint of beer. And all of this came along with our grilled chicken and pasta. That was unacceptable. The pesto pasta was one of the worst I've ever eaten. It was supposed to be a fettuccine in pesto cream. However there was just a green color to it, and no taste of basil or pine nuts at all. It wasn't pesto. I asked for it to be remade, and it came back greener than before but tasted the same. I've visited once before as well on a Saturday night when it was crowded and the service was average then too. But on an empty day, it's just not right. Surely not worth my time again.
