This chain of cafes is a great place to catch up over a cup of chai. This is a casual cafe that works perfectly as a venue for meetings, catching up with friends over a cup of tea or even just a convenient spot to work out of. They're known for their range of teas including Kulhad Chai and Tulsi Green Tea. The food here is more of a snacky affair with sandwiches and Nashta including things like 'Bun Maska' and 'Vada Pav' as well as some sweet treats. Perfect for when you are feeling peckish and do not want a full meal.
We had samosa chat and pav bhaji. Both were nice. The interiors are done tastefully. Overall impression was great.
This place has such a lovely ambience!! Everything you order is so delicious. My personal fav is date and fig slice cake.
It’s a unique and fresh concept of varieties of chai. They have 12 outlets in Mumbai so far and 52 all over India. We chose the Powai one. We were in group so tried a lot of items :p They have 12000 different ways of having chai (I know you can’t believe but it’s true). They have come up with a new summer menu named as “Heat ko karde beat” which needs to be consumed to know how appetising it is. Specially the new CHILLY CHEESE TOAST(still drooling thinking about it). I hardly try items with egg but EGG BUN was delicious. LITCHI LASSI was a perfect combination of Lassi and litchi (it tastes opposite of what it sounds like). A must try. One of the other highlights was PALAK PATTI CRISPIES. We ordered that on the recommendation of the staff and turned out to be flattering. A unique combination of spinach, jalapeño, tamarind sauce & what we popularly call sev. Other items that we ordered which were also amazing were Mango, Strawberry & Masala mint Lassi, Kulhad Pavbhaji, Cake Shake & Moist Chocolate Cake. For die hard chai lovers the concept of “Meri wali chai” works well. See menu to understand what exactly it is. A must recommended place to try any of the items from the menu. Pros: Amazing menu & Amazing Taste Marvellous Ambiance & Staff Cons: Only one thing I can point out was that Pav bhaji can be better Cost: 1650 Ratings: 5
Ordered couple of items as usual but the Bhelpuri was so spicy.... which can't be eaten. The restaurant staff need to be specific if spicy food is required and can't simply make and serve spicy food.
You get here a number of tea with a number of combinations served as per your choice in Kullars or cups.A must try.
