Housed in the Bandra Talao vicinity the restaurant satisfies the taste buds of Korean food enthusiasts. Although the restaurant is lacking in décor front the management has invested all its energy in the kitchen. The unpretentious surroundings may look humble but the restaurant remains fully occupied most of the time. The tables are closely placed so it becomes slightly cramped but the food lovers don’t mind. They adore Heng Bok and visit it for dinners with large group of friends and family. The chef imports most of the meat resulting the price hike in the menu. The Korean expats love to come here to taste the authentic food of their country. The staff of Heng Bok is extremely helpful and knowledgeable so take their opinion under consideration. The Korean cuisine is unique in itself both in taste and in preparation. The meat gets barbequed right at the table. The patrons can have fun bonding over the whole procedure of grilling of meat done by themselves only take care to let the pieces cool down or you will burn your tongue. BBQ octopus/ squid/ fish/ prawn, tofu & vegetable, mixed mushroom, Belgium pork belly, bulgogi are provided to grill. Order some Korean flavoured soups such as miso soup, galbi tang, kimchi jjigae, sundubu jjigae and doenjang jjigae, for more original experience. As first course go for, grilled Japanese saba, tiger prawns tempura, chicken house salad, fried prawns tempura, haemul pajeon (Korean seafood pan cake), dubu kimchi, edamame, tofu house salad, grilled rice cake with asparagus, pajeon (Korean spring onion pan cake), jim mandu (dumpling), grilled eel fish with kabayaki sauce, corn & cheese korokke and steam bok choy with Korean soybean paste. The exciting mains welcomes you at Heng Bok such as, bulgogi, dak galbi, mapo tofu, tofu steak, salmon teriyaki, baked salmon with miso sauce, Korean curry rice, Heng Bok special curry, mix vegetable in doenjang sauce, special crab curry, Korean chicken curry. Combine the mains with some yaki soba noodles, japchae, Korean ramyeon and cold buckwheat soba noodles. Add some fun element to your dinner with casserole Korean hot pot.
