This place is clearly high on energy and thus exceedingly popular with the younger lot as a hotspot to relax and unwind. Always packed, it gets busier in the evenings. The array of games and bric-a-bracs catch your attention immediately. The menu is replete with comfort food but offers enough variety, and the bar menu boasts of fun cocktails. Even repeated visits to these outlets in various locations is not monotonous as there is plenty to try out each time. The Mediterranean dishes here are worth-a-try, and the Mezze and Marish Chicken are particularly interesting. The Wraps, which come with Wedges and a Salad, can prove to be quite filling. Cheekily worded, the shots on the cocktail menu are fun to try. Service is attentive but unhurried. Ask the friendly bartender to fix you a drink of your choice. The ideal place to hang out on Friday nights as it plays great music.
Located inside the Hiranandani gardens in the heart of Powai & thus can expect quite a footfall on weekends. The crowd is quite young & happening. If you are driving in you can park in Hiranandani gardens free parking. When I arrived there were some offers on drinks but not anything which I liked specifically. So I stuck to my whisky. I made a disaster in ordering. There was this dish called khara chicken with cheese starter. What arrived was small puff topped with smashed chicken & cheese. The service was pretty slow & the price was between budget & premium. Not something I liked much
Place you can seriously avoid, consider it only when nothing else is left. Dj and music gives you a headache, food is no great at the same time. Crowd , o my god, dj and his idiot bunch of friends dance over the entire place falling on ur tables and shouting for no reason, they do their level best to turn it into a dharavi pub. This bunch , along with few waiters are part of same gang who pay no heed even when you raise it with them. Even a local bar wud be better place to sit n drink then this horrible madness Service is pathetic but still they add service charge , lol
Not a very happy experience even though they tried to address it. The waiter was pushing a local beer saying it was cheaper, till we checked the menu to find out it was more expensive. Then they said its happy hours and so you buy one and get one free. However when we asked for the second pitcher they happy hours doesnt appy to beer. You will be patronizing thievery if you go there. Avoid at all costs, and check if your purse is still with you when you leave. For all you know, they may even be hiring pick pockets to steal from you, given their behaviour
Its a great place to spend the evening and to much on the tasty and innovative food that they have in their menu. It is a very cute and quirky looking joint. Perfect location right in the center of business park, amazing food, lovely ambiance and wonderful staffs, though sometimes they tend to forget to take orders while making other guests sit. They have music playing and also bar section. The decor is simply amazing.
Visited this place with 2 friends after a long day at work. Electric atmosphere, a great DJ mixing his music well and great beer. Good could be better. Reach after 10, the crowds swell after that. Great dancing. Good fun place. It is a small place so fills up very fast. Enjoyed thoroughly.
Judging by the way the wind is flowing nowadays more and more eateries are coming up that revolves around youths. These casual striking places are tailor-made by keeping the younger set in mind, to reflect ease and a laid back ambience. Youths prefer places with vibrancy hence the burst of colours on the walls but, what’s more important is, the gimmicks. Out-of-the-box tactics and attractive ploys are used to draw in the punters. Leading the game is a fairly new brand that has taken over the nightlife of Mumbai with ease. ‘Hoppipola’ like the name itself is the epitome of eccentricity and creativity. Their fresh playful perspective of things goes a long way into luring the young punters in. One of their several outlets is at Galleria Shopping Centre in Powai, Mumbai and is a popular hangout for the bar-hoppers.
To entice the tipplers Hoppipola stocks on an impressive bar selection, including some fun cocktails one ought to try. On the nights they hold live sports screening, emotions run high and the mood is rambunctious. Beers flows freely between the guys and series of endless cocktails amidst the girls. Some fun ones are, drown in a bucket, blood bank, da vincitini, Hoppi bath tub and IQ. Throw in few appetizers to soak up the booze from their Mediterranean and Continental menu. Nibble on, paneer tikka, ooye gooey fries, chiseled prawns, nacho libre, harissan fish, Morish chicken, paneer sanskari tacos and chicken trilogy. Move onto, lemony butter fish, pasta aglio olio, harissa rice, pan fried chicken burger, smokin bros pizza, paneer khurchan bao, cilantro chicken with mash & paprika sauce and chunky tomato & basil pasta.
The idea of Bento box is ingenious. Go for that if you are short on time. To pamper your sweet tooth options are just limited to vanilla bean panna cotta served with strawberry coulis or choc block, which is a molten chocolate cake served with vanilla ice-cream. Hoppipola is known for its quirky taste that manages to exceed into their presentation as well. Décor is colourful, eccentric and playful. The creative imprint can be seen all over the room in bird houses wall, cute trunks and interesting curios. Books and board games fill up different shelves to keep punters busy. The décor is casual and youth-centric. Not too pricey either!
