Hearty Western comfort food is what you expect at an Indigo Deli. And more often than not, this place never disappoints. The contemporary chic décor with wooden interiors adds to the appeal. A popular place for the ‘Deli Breakfast’, one can head here any time for salads, pastas, sandwiches, burgers, light meals, desserts and of course beverages. An equally exhaustive bar menu is on offer. My selection of the soya, barley and cracked wheat burger on a five-grain bun over the usual 3 cheese and lamb burger, proved to be a good choice, both in terms of texture and flavours. Rustic and robust. Chocolate definitely overpowers the dessert section of this menu, so for others, there is the 'Croissant Pudding with Bourbon Sauce', which I tried. Strongly reminiscent of my grandmother’s home-style bread pudding. Smooth, creamy and decadent, this one was.
