INSIDER TIPS

  • The food is very European and a lot of people find it bland because there is no heavy masala but it is good food
  • The Cobb salad is a massive bowl that is not only delicious but also extremely filling
  • The Colaba outlet has a lovely Sunday brunch menu as well

Le Pain Quotidien, or LPQ as it is commonly called, translates into ‘the daily bread’, which is apt as this café churns out excellent breads and pastries, especially their croissants. The light, wooden furniture and ample natural light at all their outlets makes this a casual yet inviting restaurant. The most popular dish on their menu is their tartines or open sandwiches but they also serves soups, salads and mains. They also have a lot of daily specials, so check with the server in case you want something different from the main menu.
