The contemporary and classy décor of warm hues radiate a low and peaceful atmosphere in a sort of a theatrical manner. Chef Prateek has tailored local spirit to the modern gourmet with the execution of a fervent chef in search of new experiences by developing a network of organic and natural farmers to purchase local produce and meats with a strong focus towards what is best and seasonal, aka a ‘from seed to table’ experience, void of chemical laden foods offering a cuisine which is refined, bursting with flavours and respectful of the product. Prateek takes his inspiration from haute cuisine’s tradition and offers dishes with taste and presentation which are sure-fire to please the most challenging palate. The tomato tart for example, is served with the artiest bent without negotiating on the taste, a most unique dish yonder creative but still ‘organic’. The pork from Coorg that comes with a bao flavoured with home grown Peruvian chillies holds all the spice, and slight sweetness and joy of a proper oriental curry rendered smooth and enticing…simply delightful! It is not just a meal here, it is a concert of fineness and it inspires a level of individual rejoinder and participation that snuggles a new mindfulness within.
We had a lovely evening with the super attentive chef and personnel. The food was unique in preparation, although not all of it appealed to our pallete. Desserts were excellent. Bar mocktails were average. However, the pricing was completely unreasonable.
Really very very nice brunch. Very relaxing atmosphere with very kind staff. First time that in such high end place people ask if want to have extra dish. If your in Mumbai you should go!
The place has a very calm decoration. The menu is top of the top and the experience and knowledge of all the team is impressive. One menu that changes depending on the season. All flavours make a gteat combination. The lobster ooooooomo my god that curry lobster. The wine paring is surprising as it is only made of white wines but all match perfectly to the food you are eating. Better than many Michelin stars I have eaten. Thanks Masque! Wish you the best! This is how it should be Food served with style and grace in a space that's been carefully considered but not contrived. We had the lot. It was all outstanding. The paired drinks were exceptional. And the visits to the kitchen showed a professional and passionate staff. I loved it.
Loved the place - the ambience, the food and best of all, the service! Every course was an unexpected pleasure, their bread melt in your mouth and the cocktail 'Blasted', I believe, was fantastic. Raw turmeric infused gin - yummmm... Excellent service by Mirelle - hostess; Ankush- Mixologist; Chef Kamlesh; and all at Masque. Definitely recommended. Only thing,venue was a little difficult to find - but forgot all that once we got there! Thank you team Masque!
