This all-vegetarian restaurant with colourful and eclectic décor exudes a cheerful vibe. It is only the dim lighting, which mars the ambience. The tables are well laid out and the seating is comfortable. The bar at the centre with frenetic activity is an added attraction. Global fusion food with some Indian dishes is what the menu offers. The 'Samosa Thouk Soup' with well-spiced lentils as the base, is outstanding and a must-try. The 'Creamy Broccoli' and 'Paneer Ki Jugalbandi doused in sauce, is unimaginative and disappoints. The 'Paneer Bhurji Quesadillas' are a safe bet. The food is mostly about cheese and paneer and thus, heavy. The dishes are inventive though and the fusion in most cases, subtle. Among the mains, 'Rajma Masala' and 'Dal Khichdi' are simple but well-made and satisfying. Given the portion sizes, the food is a tad overpriced. Service is slow and the staff inattentive. This place tends to be extremely noisy even during the day.
I visited this place after hearing oodles of appreciation.I visited this place on eve of my birthday. The arrangement of the place is very nice. The staff was kind and the service was quick.Real authentic food with range of dishes We ordered- 💙Peri peri cottage cheese 💙Ravioli pasta 💙Creamy basil pesto risotto 💙Lasagne rustiche alle verd 💙Deep dish peri peri pizza I'll surely visit this place again❤️
The restaurant has a very good ambience but the concern is about the seating area which is upstairs. The seating area upstairs have sofas with low height tables. Once you sit on the sofas either you eat in your lap else bend and eat. This can cause severe stress while eating. I suffered from a minor backache after my dining at this restaurant. The other concern is that the food delivered is very quick. The moment you start eating the food the next food item is delivered. We had to request them to slow down. Speaking about the food, the sizzlers, nitro ice cream and grilled sandwiches are excellent. Overall if you want to have a good dining experience do attend the restaurant early (often it is crowded) and occupy the tables and chairs and not the sofas. Request the staff to serve you the next requested food item only after you have finished eating the food.
We went to this restaurant and found it crowded. They do have a seating area upstairs and the ambience is very good. We tried the chipotle panini bread grilled sandwich (5/5), cottage cheese steak in pepper sauce sizzler (4/5), Sliders Platter (2/5...cold and not fresh), brownie nutfudge nitro icecream (4/5) and Chocu nutty (3/5..walnut cake was hard and not fresh). Overall a good experience. However you must experience how nitro cakes are prepared using edible liquid nitrogen which is even suitable for children.
It has an nice ambience, friendly staff, nice menu on board . Quantity is decent and food is top grade also price is decent . Nitrogen icecream varieties are amazing .
Good restaurant, good food, good service. It was a nice time with family. Will surely visit again. Only problem is parking is little difficult. It is on the link road, Borivili west.
When dining out with family, it’s best to choose places where not only them but you as well get to do your own thing. Why compromise on partying for the night when you can have your cake and eat it too? Restro-bars are answer to your question. Mumbai is filled with them. No need to go around the web, browsing for the perfect restro-bar, for we have just the place for you. Called ‘Mastee’, which translates to fun, is a bar that delivers exactly what it promises. It is a place designed to enjoy and chill out with your family or friends. Drive down to A-AHCL, Homes, Link Road, Borivali West in Mumbai and enter this cheerful looking joint for an exciting night. There is valet parking available.
Mastee remains open till 1 am, way past midnight so you can keep the party going well into the night. While your family browses through the menu, why not order yourself a drink from their vast bar menu. Nitrogen Mastee, cocktails frozen with nitrogen are worth checking out. Match it with a North Indian-Continental grub spread. Menu is purely vegetarian by the way. Tickle your appetite with a range of appetizers such as, samose ke cigar, pav bhaji fondue, beer battered onion rings, paneer tikka, desi stuffed mushroom, Italy ka rice vada, paneer bhurji quesadilla, Tex Mex naanza and popeye corn triangles. Take the conventional route with curry and flatbread or go the Continental way with pizzas, pastas and sizzlers. Mastee churns out, Thai curry khichdi, Vietnamese curry noodles, chaap sizzler, dum aloo, cottage cheese steak in pepper sauce and enchiladas.
They use the nitrogen trick in their ice creams as well. Pick a big bowl of nitro ice cream in whichever flavour you want. Otherwise you can sample, choco mcdough, hit-me, gooey pleasure and chocolate cocoon. Daaru ice creams is another of their innovative hits. Live music gigs and live sports screening keeps the diners well entertained. Interiors are created to impress people of all ages. While there are proper dining tables, the restro-bar has kept the vibe youthful with superhero wall art, big Mastee signage, dim ambient lighting and perky colors. The mood comes across as fun, young and exciting. The bar at the center of the room is where all the action is. Prices are pocket-friendly. The modern innovative fusion seen on the menu is mention-worthy.
