This is a quaint Italian restaurant with wooden interiors, a warm inviting ambience, and adorable curios and photo-frames hanging on the walls. They have an island bar in the middle of the restaurant and cosy booth-like tables should you want a more intimate experience. In case you do not want to be cooped up inside, they have a small but lovely outdoor section with a few tables and chairs. The menu covers a range of Italian dishes from the typical pizzas and pasta to even paninis served with French fries. House specials include their Pizza Verdura which is vegetarian and their char-grilled chicken with balsamic sauce, polenta and greens.
Absolutely loved the ambiance & the vibe. Elaborate menu with home made pastas and breads. Yummy deserts, tried the chocolate semifredo bliss! They have a tasting menu (veg/non-veg) Wednesday nights karaoke Sunday brunch with live music Highlights: sangria & pesto
Very nice Italian joint in Hiranandani Powai. The place has a facility of open air seating also. The place is very nicely made. They have a full fledged bar and very authentic Italian cuisine. The fish dishes are wonderful. You should try Salmone Alla Griglia and Bombil Frito. If you want to have Italian food in Powai area then this is the place to be.
Mia Cucina is my absolute favourite authentic Italian Restaurant in the city, and trust me, the word authentic holds a lot of weight in this statement. In the day and age where almost every multicuisine restaurant serves pizzas, pastas and paninis, Mia Cucina stands out with its authenticity. No one matches the quality and taste of the pizzas and pastas at Mia. Things to try - The best Aglio Olio in the city! Add roasted chicken to it if you’re non vegetarian and you’ll absolutely love it. The Quattro fromaggi Pizza is also a must have for cheese lovers. One thing that caught me by surprise and was absolutely superb was their fig and feta salad. Mia Cucina has great options for the health conscious folks too! Paired my meal with some great wine and sangrias from their extensive bar menu. Ended my meal with a soft and flavourful tiramisu and a warm and gooey brownie sundae. Absolutely love my visit every time I visit Mia Cucina, be it their homely Bandra outlet or their rustic Powai Outlet. Give this place a try!
Located in Powai, this place is all hearts to party with friends, family, small as well as large groups while being surrounded with delicious food, amazing drinks, scrumptious cocktails, refreshing mocktails and beautiful interiors. We were here post work to chill and were glad to be here for the quick assistance by their staff and the suggestions that truly made our evening. We started with Suppli Di Riso which was a delicious plate of risotto & mozzarella balls. Their Salsiccia Pizzetta is truly something I would recommend for any chicken cuisine lover. We also tried their cosmopolitan cocktail and Blue lagoon slush which were absolutely delicious, strong and refreshing. The slush being one of the recommended mocktail I would say to have a refreshing experience. The white penne pasta, ziti Ala mascarpone was truly a creamy and appetizing one to have. We truly enjoyed being here on a midweek break from work!
The place is located in the hub of powai where all other well known Restaurants and outlets are present. Always had Mia Cucina on my list for a long time and finally getting to be here is very special. The place servers authentic Italian delicacy making it a one of kind Restaurant in Mumbai. The interiors of the place is quiet raw with dim lights Making it look and feel like a classic Street style Italian restaurant. Love the interiors and the music is so apt to the decor you are surely going to love your dining experience. The staff is very courteous and a very quick in their service. Do trust their suggestions as it's going to make it difficult to choose with a wide range dishes on their menu. Must try would be :- 1- Negroni - 4/5. a classic gin based cocktail having strong flavours with a touch of lemon. 2- Caramel Buttered Whiskey - 5/5 Whiskey based cocktail having a flavor of caramelized butter and it's blended in with the Whiskey. 3- Ravioli al Funghi Croccanti - 5/5. Ravioli is a kind of pasta which a stuffing which is then covered with a pasta sheet which is then deep fried with a stuffing of Mushroom with added mushroom sauce making it in a very subtle way . Totally loved it ❤️. 4-Speidi di Gamberi alla Griglia - 5/5 A very classic grilled prawns dish which is spicy and the prawns has a great crunchiness making it amazing. 5-Chorizo - 5/5. Traditional flat bread pizza with marinara sauce and pickled pork sausages. 6-Pappardelle e Pollo - 5/5 ❤️. My personal favorite dish here. Hand pulled pasta sheet with a white carbonara sauce with basil. A must must try. 7- Panna Cotta -5/5. The most traditional dessert of Italy is Pana Cotta which is very well made it's surely going to melt in your mouth. 8- Blueberry cheesecake- 5/5. An Italian meal is incomplete without a Blueberry Cheesecake. Totally loved it. A special thanks and mention to Alwin for making our dining experience a special one ❤️.
Nobody can create an ambience quite like Italians. The utter simplicity of the background, enlivened by cosy furnishings and the right kind of mood lighting is how they take the dining experience to another level. In Mumbai itself there are numerous quaint or fancy bistros specializing in Italian cuisine yet no one can recreate the magical dining experience of ‘Mia Cucina’. The restaurant is placed at Transocean House on Lake Boulevard Street in Powai, Mumbai and lures you in with its charming lantern lit façade. Have a romantic first date? Or a get together with old friends? Pick Mia Cucina for its relaxed non-fussy ambiance where you can talk in peace without bothering with loud music or boisterous atmosphere. This charming little bistro is perfect to add to your go-to list.
No decent Italian menu is complete without an extensive range of sangria selection to go with hand in hand. But if you don’t like to tone down your wines then rejoice in Mia Cucina’s impressive wine list. Start your first course with, pizzetta prawn, turnip soup, manzo panini, funghi croccanti, bruschetta caponata, torte di pollo, bruschetta pollo con olivata, calamari frittele, gamberi al forna, polenta e pollo spiedini, panzanella, zuppa di zucca, verdure panini and bambi fritto. The next course is where you get the true impact of Mia Cucina.
Dining at an Italian restaurant and not feasting on desserts is a sacrilege. Mia Cucina does a fantastic range of traditional Italian desserts such as, affogato, panacotta, tiramisu, almond chocolate cheesecake, decadence cake and apple tart. The restaurant is a bit on the expensive side but that doesn’t matter in light of their superb menu and subtle lovely ambience. Interiors of Mia Cucina are kept simple yet striking without compromising on the earthiness or rusticity. An entirely wooden décor is enlivened by photo-covered walls and interesting curios put here and there. They have a charming outdoor area that lights up in the evening under strings of lanterns. Friday nights are the bar nights so don’t even think of popping in without calling first. Karaoke nights on Thursday keeps things lively.
