Update.

Disgusting service , came at 10pm was kept waiting for 1hr before we got food.  Even got served after those who came before .

Very sad to say definitely won't come back again . They have no idea how to treat their customers nor do they care .

FYI bathroom is a filthy disgusting place.

The service was excellent,  And food was very good. Quantity of food was good too. All round reached early so missed the buffet but looked interesting. The cashew kababs were exceptional.  Decore was decent and comfortable. All-round was a good experience.

I recently visited this restaurant and was drawn in by the ambiance, which was quite pleasant and inviting. However, the experience quickly went downhill from there.

While the buffet menu offered a decent variety, it didn't justify the high prices. The overall menu lacked the quality I was expecting for the cost. One major disappointment was the sweet and sour soup I ordered. It tasted so awful that I couldn't even finish it and had to leave it behind.

Overall, my visit was disappointing, and I wouldn't recommend this restaurant, especially if you plan on trying the soup.

We were four adult people and were stuffed and got remaining parcelled!!!
Staff were very hospitable.
Atmosphere was good but view is a little bland since it's just like any city restaurant, i.e. city traffic on the ever blocked road. Lake is blocked by IIT.

Since we were craving for good and authentic North Indian food, we had to go to our favourite place Mini Punjab lakeside which serves the most amazing and delicious food.

To start off with, we called in for the virgin mojito which was nice and refreshing and perfect for the summer season. For the appetizers, we tried the chicken cheese supreme. This dish is a must try. The juicy chicken tikka was generously stuffed with cheese and just a slice of it will make the cheese ooze out from the tikka. Then we called for paneer tikka pudina. The paneer cubes were so soft that it would almost melt in our mouths. Both the starters had 8 pieces each.

For the mains, we had to try their Delhi style butter chicken. What I like the most about it, is that it's not sweet like how we generally get it in Maharashtra and thats what I like about it. Slightly spicy but nice and buttery goes really very well with the butter naan. Then we called for a chicken biryani. One of the best biryanis I have ever eaten with succulent pieces of chicken and perfect amount of masala.

For dessert we tried gulab jamun. Moist and perfectly balanced in sweetness. Hands down to this place for serving the best North Indian food. Highly recommend their food and the service is excellent.

Hello foodies, I have Recently visited one of the gem Mini Punjab in Powai just Nr powai lake, what i experience is amazing food, good quality and Service?
I must say one of the best place to visit with your family and friends. Has good atmosphere for them as crowd is decent.
Talking about food I tasted is amazing, the non veg starter i tried i.e malai kabab and tandoori is delicious, perfect cooked,
Main course :
i tried Mirch dhania mugh and i must say one of the best Chicken gravy I have evere tatsed, perfectly seasoned spices with perfect cooked chicken and lots of ? mirch ?
What i not liked is paneer tawa masala, looked average not good ?
Beverages tried Mango mock tail and blueberry its Okiesh ?
In Dessert they have Rabdi Jalebi & sweet potato halwa , Rabdi jalebi is good abut they should add more varieties of Dessert.

Con - I feel is service time can better

Overall i had god experience at Mini Punja

Recently i went here with my friends. The ambience looks really beautiful. The place is big enough and seating arrangement is also good. It is perfect for large group of friends and family.

The staff here was attentive and polite. They explained us every dish in detail. The service was good enough.

The food we tried:-
In Mocktails we ordered Fruit Punch and Virgin Colada. I loved the taste of fruit punch here. And Virgin Colada was also good.

In starters we had Cheese Stuffed Chicken Supreme and Malai Tangadi Kabab. The taste of this starters was really amazing. Specially malai tangadi kabab was amazing and the chicken supreme is also great.

In mains we had Butter chicken delhi style. And this the 1st butter chicken i taste which was spicy. Because of delhi style it is spicy in taste. The taste was really outstanding.

Finally in dessert we had Jalebi Rabdi. The quantity of jalebi was so much. This combination is really like a heaven.

Overall our experience was very good with this restaurant.

We reached a little after 3p.m and even though officially their kitchen  had closed they made an exception  for us. The Chicken  Amritsari was sumptuous enough for the two of us. They also serve a pickle which is purely a punjabi style homemade kind. It was delicious.

Mini Punjab's Lake Side located in Powai overlooking the lake, keeps up with the expectations of serving up some great authentic flavours in frankly humongous portion sizes. You are sure to find the Punjabi foodie vibe here !

The seating is comfortable and the menu has plethora of Indian and Chinese dishes. They also serve straight drinks and mocktails. We tried :

-  Shirley Temple : Soda based mocktail with small punches of ginger and grenadine. Nice for a start !

- Lemon and Lime Spritzer : Perfectly refreshing along with citrusy kicks ideal for small sips with your food. Can look better though !

- Cheese Stuffed Chicken Supreme : Chargrilled chicken kebabs with lots of stuffed melted cheese oozing out in every bite. Delicious and must try !

- Malai Tangdi Kebab : Succulent chicken leg pieces drenched in butter and cream. Loved it !

- Butter Chicken Delhi style : More chatpata and less sweeter than the usual butter chicken, the gravy was creamy and tasted heavenly when paired with their Cheese Garlic Naan. Top marks for the combo !

- Matka Murgh Dum Biryani : Pot baked aromatic chicken biryani optimally layered with delightful chicken masala and spiced rice. Portion size easily good enough for two and I would definitely recommend !

- Jalebi Rabdi : Lovely mini jalebis with sinfully thick rabdi for the most Punjabi sweet tooth satisfaction that anyone can get.

The waiting time between orders for starters is nice and short but main course can take some while due to the preparation time and also the crowd. Price point is right on the money considering their offerings and portion sizes. The place is apt for family dinners and large groups too.

Had a great time with amazing food and drinks. Looking forward to visiting again soon ! ?
