Takumi

The restaurant has amazing interiors and the atmosphere is amazing. However the food is mid average for the exorbitant pricing.

For a small cocktail that is just about okay in taste the price is RS 800!! Our whiskey was diluted by the waiter, so much that it tasted more like water rather than whiskey.

The taste of the food is not all that great. For the massive pricing, the quantity is very less. In the end it feels like a total rip off. All that's good about this restaurant is the atmosphere inside. Overall I wouldn't really recommend Takumi, especially when there are better alternatives in the same lane.

The food was alright, the highlight was the turnip cake, would recommend to try if visiting. The dim sum was average, so was the Cottage cheese starter. Their mushroom teriyaki was cooked in a good sauce. The cocktail was average but the service however is great and the ambience is decent too.

Dropped by Takumi for a meal, and it didn’t disappoint! The Asparagus Tempura was crisp, the Tod Rak Buo Slice Root Chips were light and tasty, and the Crispy Veg Cheung Fun was spot on. The Burmese Khao Suey was comforting and flavorful. My friends enjoyed the Shrimp Tempura Sushi and loved the Sriracha Chicken Dimsums. The interiors are beautifully done and make for a great dining vibe!

I recently dined at Takumi in Bandra and was totally impressed with the ambience, the look and feel of the place is just amazingly good.

They have 2 seating arrangements - outside and inside. Decor is super stylish and perfect lighting created for a warm and inviting atmosphere.

The food was exceptional, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. The service was great, with attentive with friendly staff. Little on the higher price range but good dining experience.

Visited this place for dinner, on a Sunday!
What we ordered -
California cream cheese Sushi -6/10
Corn and spinach dimsum-10/10
Sotoayam(glass noodles soup)-10/10
Khow suey-10/10
Tofu pot rice -7/10
Blue rice crunchy veg Sushi -9/10

The food is really good and tasty! It's a bit pricey though! The ambience is really nice, the staff is also very courteous!

I am definitely coming back to this place, and highly recommend it!

Loved the fine dining asian experience at Takumi, and super courteous staff - making it a relaxing experience.

Our favourite picks
1. The California tempura sushi (ONE OF THE BEST)
2. Mushroom and truffle dumplings (also loved all the sauces they served with this)
3. Pan fried noodles (super quantity after appetizers and good amount of gravy)

Food was okay, average in taste. The beverages were on the other hand amazing. nothing special but the atmosphere and service was amazing.

I recently visited Takumi in Mumbai and had a wonderful dining experience. The restaurant’s spacious and beautifully designed interior sets a warm and inviting tone, complemented by a lively atmosphere. From Thursday to Sunday, Takumi features live performances, and their new techno nights on Fridays add a fun twist to the evening. The cocktail menu is impressive; I particularly enjoyed the Mellow Magway, a tequila-based cocktail with a stunning presentation, and the Garden of Eden, a refreshing gin-based drink. The bartender,Pranav clearly knows his craft, making each drink with care and expertise. For starters, I savored the salmon sushi and shrimp tempura, both fresh and full of flavor. The dimsums were delightful, and the chili garlic prawns were a highlight, perfectly spiced and cooked to perfection.Moving on to the main course, I tried the pad thai noodles, garlic fried rice, and Mongolian chicken. Each dish was delicious, with well-balanced flavors that left a lasting impression.Dessert was a showstopper with the Takumi Signature Flambé. Served with flair, it was the perfect sweet ending to the meal. What really stood out at Takumi was the warm and attentive service. The staff, especially Twinkle, were friendly and made sure every detail was taken care of, adding to the overall excellent experience. Takumi is definitely worth a visit for its great food, drinks, and vibrant atmosphere.
