I recently visited this place and the vibes here is so good.. perfect for an after office party or a family get together.. the food is amazing. I just loved their burgers from their all new grill menu.. there are a lot of veg and non veg options. Do not forget to try their desserts as well. Overall experience was amazing

I have been searching for a dinner place with good ambience and service then found this restaurant near to marine drive.

I had the pleasure of dining at The Sassy Spoon, a cozy yet vibrant spot that boasts a creative menu blending global flavors. I tried a mix of dishes that spanned continents and palates, and the experience was a delightful journey of textures and tastes.

Tofu Cottage Cheese Poppers:
We started with the Tofu Cottage Cheese Poppers, a fusion appetizer that set the tone for the evening. The outer coating was perfectly crisp, with just the right golden hue, while the inside offered a creamy, well-seasoned mix of tofu and paneer (cottage cheese). They came with a tangy dipping sauce that had a gentle kick—enough to awaken the palate without overwhelming it. A fantastic vegetarian take on classic bar bites.

Mexican Flatbread:
Next up was the Mexican Flatbread, a standout. Thin, slightly crispy base with generous toppings of beans, corn, jalapeños, and melted cheese, drizzled with a spiced mayo or chipotle sauce. It was everything you want from Mexican-inspired comfort food—rich, cheesy, and bold. The balance of heat and acidity was spot on.

Spaghetti Garden Fresh:
For the main course, I went with the Spaghetti Garden Fresh, a lighter, refreshing take on traditional spaghetti. The pasta was al dente, tossed with a medley of seasonal vegetables—zucchini, bell peppers, cherry tomatoes, and broccoli. The sauce was olive oil-based, subtly herbed, and allowed the natural sweetness and crunch of the veggies to shine. It was wholesome and satisfying without feeling heavy.

Moscow Cocktail:
To complement the food, I ordered a Moscow Cocktail (presumably a Moscow Mule variant). It was served ice-cold in a copper mug, with a zingy blend of vodka, ginger beer, and lime. Crisp, spicy, and refreshing—the ginger really came through and made it the perfect palate cleanser between bites.

Glass of Beer:
I ended the meal with a chilled glass of beer (a lager, if I’m not mistaken). It was light, slightly hoppy, and paired especially well with the flatbread and poppers. Not overly complex, but a solid choice to round out the meal.

Ambience & Service:
The ambience was warm, with soft lighting and music that allowed for easy conversation. Service was attentive but not intrusive—our server was knowledgeable and happy to make recommendations.

Final Verdict:
From East Asian bites to Mediterranean-Mexican fusion and classic Italian pasta, the restaurant delivered an impressive variety without losing authenticity or quality. Each dish stood on its own but also complemented the others, making the meal feel curated rather than chaotic. Whether you're a vegetarian or just looking to switch things up, this place is worth a visit.

Visited this place with my friend as we wanted to try it out since a long time. The ambience of this place is just beautiful ❤️ We ordered Korean style Chicken hot wings, Cottage cheese Nuggets and Grilled cottage cheese steak with Herb rice and paprika corn sauce. We also ordered Sweet lime soda and Soul drink for refreshments.

The food taste could be improved. The best dish for me was Grilled cottage cheese steak as it was tasty and stomach filling. They also have a variety of desserts which are a must try!

Visited on a Saturday night, decided to sit outside as the music was too loud inside.  The table we sat still had water glasses from previous customers which was yet be cleared. Had to remind staff couple of times to change the glasses and water.
The music playing was mix of Hindi and English songs.
We tried the following:
1. Crispy chicken tacos with sweet potato hummus & chipotle cheese sauce  - Great dish with soft tacos.
2. Rosemary infused chicken marinated with pickled chilli with garlic yogurt - Had high expectations from this dish but turned out to be a big disappointment. Didn't get even a slight taste of rosemary instead it just tasted like normal kababs.
3. Mushroom tortellini in a porcini cream sauce  - For mushroom lovers, this is a very flavourful dish. The quantity looked small compared to the price.

To conclude, this is a good option if you are around nariman point, however the pricing is on the higher side and the quantity is on the lower side.

I recently visited The Sassy Spoon at Nariman Point, Mumbai, and it was a delightful experience. The vintage ambiance created the perfect setting for a family celebration, and being there on a Monday night made it less crowded, ideal for a relaxed dinner.

The food was absolutely fantastic! Although I was so tempted by the delicious dishes that arrived at our table, I completely forgot to take photos. The variety of starters, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian, were impressive. The chicken kebab was particularly mouthwatering, and the pasta, burger, and pizza didn't disappoint either. The mocktails were refreshing and complemented the meal perfectly.

The highlight was the mutton biryani—truly unique and incredibly flavorful. To top it off, the staff was incredibly polite and hospitable, making us feel like part of their extended family. I'm definitely looking forward to visiting again soon.

The restaurant had a trendy ambiance with modern décor and pleasant lighting, but the service fell short of my expectations. The staff was polite, but their attentiveness was lacking, and it took longer than usual to receive our orders.

While the menu at Sassy Spoon offered a variety of fusion flavors, the execution of the dishes left something to be desired. Although the presentation was appealing, the flavors did not quite live up to the hype. The ingredients seemed fresh, but some dishes lacked the perfect balance of flavors, leaving them slightly underwhelming.

In conclusion, while Sassy Spoon had a trendy atmosphere and a few standout dishes, my overall experience was average. The service could have been more attentive, and the flavors of the dishes lacked the wow factor I was expecting. If you're looking for a decent meal in a trendy setting, Sassy Spoon might fit the bill, but it may not leave a lasting impression on your taste buds.

Very bland taste of the dishes that we ordered. Nothing out of the box and too pricey for the taste.

Ambience is good but menu has limited vegetarian options. We ordered flat bread, salad and nachos. Everything was okayish.

Not recommended.

Visited this place with a friend for lunch. Ambiance is good, rustic. Since i prefer veg, very limited options were available, overall as well it has a very select items in its menu. Would only recommend if you want to go for quick catch up with your friends. I believe this place would turn into a nice lounge with live music.
