The Society is a more upscale restaurant at the Ambassador Hotel that focuses on a more refined dining experience. The ambience is subtle with plain walls, comfortable chairs and pretty chandeliers that glisten in the light. There is no fuss or drama here, it is the kind of restaurant you visit when you want a quiet or romantic meal out where conversations are had in hushed tones. The menu focuses on a mix of Indian and old-school Continental dishes and you will find some of the very best here. Think 'Roast Duck with Orange Sauce', 'A Coq Au Vin', 'Escallops' or even a 'Sheppard's Pie'. Though the Indian fare is excellent, do try something from their Continental menu which is excellent.
