Yellow Chilli is a franchise restaurant owned by the one and only Chef Sanjeev Kapoor. If you've enjoyed watching him on his popular TV show and reading his many recipe books, this restaurant is where all that food comes alive. The cuisine is largely Indian food where Chef has taken inspiration from various dishes across India as well as international ones and curated a menu. 'Anglo Indian Bahaar', 'Aloo Nazakat', 'Lawrence Road Tandoori Murgh' and 'Kadai Prawns' are some of their interesting dishes. This is a popular restaurant especially on the weekends, so service sometimes can get a little slow but all is forgiven when you eat the food.

They try to make every dish in its ideal way. They just don’t mix pre-made gravies and vegetables. You order three different vegetables and all will have different different curries and taste.
The starter complementary drink was out of the world. temperature just right. Now sure how they maintain that coolness just right when a glass of cold water turns warm in just a few minutes in Thane's humid n hot weather. Food is very good. Not too spicy but very tasty and leaves u wholesomely fileed but not with that awful feeling of fullness that we get ususally after eating in an indian restaurant. That says a lot about the quality of their ingredients. A must eat place for anyone from Thane or a visitor. We were a family group of 3 generations together on 15th August and the ambience was very nice and welcoming for everyone. We all njoyed the food.
Request the staff to consider one thing... Through Eazydiner the members are eleigible to get a complementary Mocktail. They should, on request, swap it with a bowl of soup if the member/guest is suffering from cold or any such related illnes, where Mocktails etc is supposed to be avoided. Start tasting the delicious offerings with murgh yakhni shorba, masala papad with pindi salad, harippa paneer tikka, amritsari macchi, coconut zaffrani shorba, murgh angaar bedgi, pakhtooni burra boti, papaya peanut kachumber, chana jor garam tikki, tandoori basil prawns, kurkure kukkad, ghee roast mutton, nimbu mirch tawa fish and shabnam ke moti. Fill your tummy next with spicy aromatic curries such as, adraki dhania paneer, lalla mussa dal, kadai prawns, nargisi anda curry, murgh survedaar, nalli rogan josh, fish tikka masala, kofta-e-pukhtan, mushroom ka josh, lapta chicken, gosht keema mutter and dum ki kaliyan. Pair the curries with super soft missi roti, mint paratha, peshawari naan, roomali roti, basil butter naan and pyaz mirch ki roti.
For rice lovers murgh noormahal biryani, nizami tarkari biryani and dum gosht biryani is on the menu. The Yellow Chilli makes a Parsi biryani with delicious morsels of lamb and rice which is a must have. Sweet course brings to you, cappuccino coffee cake with butterscotch lava, kesari kulfi with rabdi, zauk-e-shahi, frukhand, makhan elaichi mousse and gulab-e-gulkand.
