The high atrium ceiling with natural light filtering into this all-day dining restaurant adds a unique charm to the already chic ambience. Tiqri, denotes a glass wall art, which is aesthetically depicted in the form of a striking wall décor inside the restaurant. A certain joie de vivre pervades this place. The menu offers dishes across cuisines and an equally elaborate drinks section. Whether it is a quick breakfast, leisurely lunch or an evening snack, it is the first choice of many. The breakfast, lunch and weekend dinner buffet spread, as well as the Sunday brunch, is diverse, but not too lavish. The location has a lot to do with its popularity. Affordably priced, Tiqri attracts a lot of first-timers, keen on experiencing the Taj hospitality. Affable and warm service even when the restaurant is busy. Vietnamese style rice rolls, panini verdure, Caribbean jerk chicken, kombdi wade are popular dishes from the á la carte menu.
The Sunday breakfast at Tiqri was the busiest .We went there to bring in a birthday. But unfortunately the in-house guest were just too many and it was brimming with people. No fault with the service or food though. They have an all inclusive selection of items from south indian to continental to various live counters for eggs and waffles and parathas.Their jalebis and bakery items were superb.Ditto for their bircher muesli and baked youghurt. The coffee selection was again plentiful. But there was no sea-food or fish for the buffet which was surprising. They don't take reservations on a sunday as obviously it is too busy and also no last minute birthday cake for a celebration could be arranged which was unfortunate.
Went to Tiqri couple of days ago ,the buffet was really good , Chef Dinesh helped to get us jain options for live counter which was great. The lady chef made us an awesome salad ! Kudos to a fun evening 👏🏼👏🏼 Also love the cheesecake
A perfect place to drink and eat . The lounge area blended with the restaurant is just ideal for either pleasure with friends or a business meeting . Great ambience and great service
We had a la carte. We enjoyed food very very much. New varieties of food and the presentation was something amazing. Must try Motichur Ice Creame. We were looked after by Mr Pratik. Our special thanks to Ms Krishna for suggesting dishes . Thanks to both.
I had a oppurtunity to visit Tiqri as I was a special invitee to a company meeting at the Taj Santa Cruz. By the time I reached everybody had finished the lunch and unfortunately I had take my meal alone. I took a empty table after struggling to get answer for getting the answer for location of yogurt. I had couple of morsels in, the staff informed me that that was a reserved table and that I would have to change. Ok... and I moved to another table. Then another staff came and told that this too was reserved but not sure for whom. I lost it and told him that I not be disturbed and wanted to have my meal in peace. Either the people incharge should mention the tables with reserved company/ persons name or staff should be clear which table was for my company people. You can enjoy the food and ambience when the staff keep on shifting the people around. I was just left sour..if not bitter
