The soul of Addah lies in its uber-romantic setting. A slight nip in the air, feet dipped in lukewarm pool water, ornate chairs with ethnic motifs, lilting instrumental music and a sprawling view of Pune city bathed in twinkling starlight – this is as dreamy as it gets. Even more intriguing is a vegetarian starter named bhune hue anjeer, which is basically mustard-coated smoked dry figs – lip-smacking! For mains, stick with the classics and order 'Gosht Nihari' with a luscious 'Missi Roti', and round off your meal with some cold, milky popped 'Lotus Seed Kheer'. Ambience is king here, so service can get a bit laidback – then again, Addah is not a place for a ‘quick bite’.
