The fare here is ‘European’ – most items have a centrepiece with sides such as a creamy mash, buttered veggies, rice and sauce. Favoured hors d’oeuvres include ‘Bakunin’ corn and cheese quenelles, ‘Jeanne D’Arc’ fish croquettes, or ‘Edgar’ spiced chicken sausages. Veggie mains bring you potato pancakes, croquettes, stir-fries, cottage cheese steaks, savoury crêpes, cutlets and more, while poultry lovers can experiment with turkey and chicken in a light vegetable sauce, tangy barbeque sauce, ginger oil, classic demi-glaze, or cheese, mushroom and garlic varieties. There is a host of fish fillet, prawn and delicious carabeef entrées as well. For a pleasant finish, the crêpes suzette or chocolate lava cake leave you ambling out with a smile on your face. Tipplers note, there is happy hours and some deliciously strong cocktails on offer.
We went to this restaurant on a Saturday night and found that the people just kept coming in, even at 10pm. The ambience is nice, the TV doesn't help much since people on one side of the table can watch and people on other side of the table would really have toturn their neck around :DThe presentation of food is nice, since we eat with our eyes first, it looks appealing when brought to the table. Portion size I would say is very less for the price. Agreed it is a fine line restaurant but isn't it part of customer satisfaction as well? My husband enjoy the steak and tenderloin. Kids loved the pepperoni pizza. I liked the salmon with wasabi and Alexia. Overall, food was really scrumptious. If only it was more affordable, I would be dining here more.
Arthur's Theme probably has the best mix of Continental Food in Pune... and the standard is excellent.
Nice location, perfect for a date or just a meal with friends I recommend Cecelia .. it’s Veg but very very good!
This continental themed restaurant in Pune, held out much promise, which it partially delivered ,but left one feeling far from sated.Ordered a Carabeef pepper steak, which arrived promptly enough but were amazed to see such a small portion . While It tasted pretty good , not only was the the steak tiny - the sauce was woefully inadequate covering barely half of it. On asking for extra sauce they insisted it would be charged for. Overall bill for 3 was about Rs 3.5 thousand with some wine. The moot point here is we left feeling our meal was just a starter, and we needed to go somewhere for our main course.
Subtle and Perfect - That's how I would describe, almost everything, at Arthur's Theme - be it food or ambience. We visited the Balewadi High Street outlet for a weekday lunch and had an pleasant experience.Food: Being a European restaurant, the food they serve is distinctly different from their Asian counterparts. The tastes are gentle and well-balanced and brings out the true essence of the ingredients. We ordered:#SoupGuy of Warwick: Menu describes it as creamy wine flavoured seafood soup. It was creamy for sure, but couldn't get the taste of wine in it - simple but flavoursome nevertheless.#StartersPenda: Smoky, bourboun flavoured grilled chicken skewers served with roast sauce. #RecommendedEmelie: Deep fried thin slices of chicken, coated with bread crumbs and topped with sesame seeds. Crispy on the outside and soft inside.#MainsHeidi: Grilled chicken breast served with espagnole sauce. The sauce was nice, but the chicken was too chewy and dry. I would better avoid it next time.Konrad I: Fish fillet cooked in Cajun and served on mashed potatoes and topped with wonderful lemon butter sauce. #RecommendedA special mention to the soft mashed potato balls they served with the dishes. Also the breads they served were hot and freshly baked! To top it up, the food presentation and plating is appealing!Value for Money: Being a fine dine restaurant, it would be unfair to expect value for money in terms of food quantity as the portions they serve are quite small. But the true value is reflected in the food taste and quality.Ambience: We could feel the european charisma in a predominantly white, floral and chic ambience.Service: Dishes are named after European personalities and you need to read the description to know what its about! That's where the waiters came to our rescue and helped us choose what we wanted to order. Good prompt service with attentive servers. Parking was not an issue atleast on a weekday afternoon and there was ample space available at the entrance of the restaurant, within the premises.Arthur's Theme has to be one of the better fine dine restaurants in Pune. Visit this place if you wish to experience the chefs skill and finesse. Ideal restaurant for a dinner date!

At every corner of Pune is a surprise. You might happen along a quaint bistro tucked behind your favourite bakery or chance upon a swanky upbeat nightspot throbbing with life. The city has a motto: Live life to its fullest, at least gastronomically! Residents of Pune are known for their eclectic food choices and that shows in the extensive array of menus offered by the restaurants. If you are a lover of western cuisine then ‘Arthur’s Theme’ will do nicely for you. The restaurant has two outlets on opposite sides of the city, one in Baner and the other in Koregoan Park, both locales trendy and well-known food districts. Find out what we are raving about by visiting Arthur’s Theme by yourself. Drive down to Balewadi High Street in Baner and lose yourself in the delicious delights of Arthur’s Theme.
You could guess by the name that Arthur’s Theme is a fun playful place where their quirkiness extends into their menu as well. Crowd-pleasing dishes from European and Italian cuisines have found a place on the menu. You can start your meal with a strong drink from their bar menu and, if you don’t drink, then a cup of coffee. Each dish is given an interesting strange name, which makes menu reading all the more fun. Start with, sautéed spinach & corn croquettes (Karl ll), calamari rings tempura (Alfredo), fiery chicken wings (Ronald), crumb fried mushrooms (Houdini) and beer battered prawns (Gerard). Main course is just as entertaining. Try, cottage cheese shaslik (Humbert), romano pizza, grilled fish fillet with pesto (Czar), char grilled prawns in lemon butter sauce (Lady Jennifer) and oven roasted duck (Saxon).
The variety is pretty vast, you will be spoilt for choices. Polish off few decadent desserts before heading home. Indulge in, chocolate lava cake with mint ice cream, tiramisu, blue berry cheese cake, hot chocolate brownie served with truffle sauce, banoffee pie, baked cheese cake, stuffed crepes and pancakes. For a moderately priced bill this is not a bad place to be. Interiors of Arthur’s Theme is done in a very feminine yet earthy way. Delicate white furniture works beautifully with floral printed sofas. A couple of white chandeliers casts soft glow about the room, washing brick walls in golden hue. A charming outdoor section comes with the main dining room. Take advantage of it on pleasant Pune days.
