The brand has been around for more than a decade and this new avatar of the restaurant is here for over 5 years, it also serves the non-vegetarian selection unlike the sister restaurant, Dario’s. The vibe and feel of the place are really subtle and they feel straight out from a rowhouse if there can be. The woody accents all over make the place feel very special and sublime. The menu is quite extensive too, and if you might get bored with the Italian bits, you can turn your pages to Mexican menu as well. The variety is huge and it can get tough when you are trying to serve something that is true to its roots and very authentic in the choice of ingredients and methods of cooking. The ‘Antipasti Pina Muzza’ is something nice if you love Parma Ham, it comes with salami, olives, Italian cheese and some sun-dried tomatoes to cut the monotonous and cheesy flavour. The mains include a good range of house rolled pastas and the varied choice of sauces which are paired well with veggies or meat. Try the ‘Fusilli Funciusi’, a fusilli pasta in white wine sauce, some rosemary in it and finished with grilled chicken. It is ideal that the poultry goes well with rosemary and then there are those classic white wine notes from the sauce it is cooked in. The other interesting dishes include the ‘Fusilli with Slow cooked Pork’, ‘Seafood Risotto’ that has squid, prawns and octopus - pretty well loaded with that seafood flavour and the meat of course. The large plates which are not commonly seen across the Italian restaurants and bistros in Pune are available here and that is one reason to cherish. If you are a fan of those continental style Italian meals, try the ‘Agnello Iarrusu’ - the grilled lamb chops served with champagne mushrooms, grilled tomatoes and baby roast potatoes. The desserts include a good range of dishes which have some classics, but the major deal-breaker is the ‘Ricotta Cake’, made with barley pie crust and some orange zest to get some extra kick.
