You probably would not stumble upon this restaurant unless you were dropping by E-Square to catch a movie. But the grandiose in the interiors is worth a look: think an atrium with a chandelier, rustic murals, a water fountain, arc patterns on the walls – the works. The menu is predominantly Afghani and Mughlai with glimpses of Andhra. The lemongrass rassam makes for a lovely aperitif accompanied, perhaps, by tirange paneer (a culinary depiction of the tricolour comprising paneer tikka, reshmi and pahadi) or some murg chingari which is chicken marinated, interestingly enough, in beetroot! For mains, try the birbali kofta (which has cottage cheese and spinach dumplings stuffed with mushrooms and simmered in a creamy tomato gravy) or, if you are leaning towards a Southern delicacy, then Kovalam roast – a whole chicken leg cooked in fiery Kerala spices with curry leaves and coriander.
