The beer lovers unite here and they love their drinks because they are priced really well. Each day of the week, they have an offer which you probably can not refuse. For instance, a pint of Bira is priced at Rs. 250 and you can get it on Buy One Get One on Wednesdays. Likewise, there are more offers on different alcohol and spirits every day. Their European inspired menu has an eclectic mix of ‘Jacket Potatoes’, ‘Bacon Loaded Fries’ and ‘Garlic Bread with Cheese’ amongst others. The selection of appetizers includes a varied range that is inspired by Lebanese food, some Indian kebabs and even the deep-fried American goodness. We love the 'Rosemary Hummus served with warm Pita Bread': it is in more like soul food and the whole idea of Rosemary pairing exceedingly well with that hummus took us by a surprise. The meat lovers will like their share of ‘Bacon Wrapped Prawns’ and ‘Sumac Spiced Lamb Chops’ amongst others. They even have Whole Wheat Pizzas which are an absolute deal. Considering the price and the portion size, oodles of cheese and the veggies and meat tasting great: you need to order at least one of these. We called for the ‘Spicy Chicken Delight Pizza’ that is quite a star and do not be puzzled because they serve their pizzas in a rectangle shape and you get over 10 long pieces in each. The mains as well are quite delicious and they are well made, most of them being classics. Please call it a meal with one last order of the ‘Philly Style Baked Cheesecake served with Blueberry Compote’. Watch out for the day you have entered, based on that you can manage a pint of Bira at Rs. 99 or a Hoegaarden at under Rs. 350.

This new eatery joint is named after Murphy, which is a casual Irish slang for potatoes. Located in Shop 1/2, 357/1, Pingle Chowk, Lane Number 6, Meera Nagar, Koregaon Park, Pune, Maharashtra, Murphies takes you to journey of culinary delights. Conspicuously placed with a bright ambience at the intersection between Lane 6 and Lane 8 in Koregaon Park, you cannot simply miss Murphies. Its tall and brightly lit glass façade is spectacular. The outdoor seating area, surrounded by green potted palms is just beautiful. Located opposite Menchie’s, there is lot of space where you can move around at this busy yet cosy self-service eatery. The décor is quite simple with clean-whitewashed walls, appealing lighting and modest wooden furniture. There are only two counters; one serving Murphs aka baked potatoes in addition to other savoury dishes, and the other counter is dedicated only to lip smacking desserts and refreshing beverages.
