Murphy is a cutesy sobriquet for the beloved potato, and this eatery pays a fitting tribute to everyone’s favourite ingredient. Focused entirely on baked jacket potatoes available in an array of innovative fillings, portions here are massive, scrumptious and value for money. Meat lovers should go straight for the bacon and cheese murph, which comes packed with crispy bacon bits, tender mushrooms, and tons of bubbling, melted cheese – do not forget to finish off the crunchy skin which soaks up the juices of the meat. The prawns pesto murph is also delish, or then go for the chive and cream or the broccoli varieties if you are in the mood for something vegetarian. All of these can be washed down with some refreshing kiwi iced tea or one of their creamy smoothies.
it was nice, but kind of noisy place. But overall a good experience. They can decrease the price of food. We had Meat platter and it was very nice. Drinks price is normal as compaye to other restaurants.
I visited this place with my friend when I was in pune. Ambience is really cool.We started with Almond chicken soup. I really liked it. After that we ordered sour cream n chives, instanbul hummus platter, and roasted garlic baby potato. The potatoe items are really heavy. Overall great place to hangout.
The food in this place is amazing. What makes this place standout against other place in Pune is that it has been open for a little over 2 years, and yet the interior as well as the exterior look as if it was open for only 4 months. I was really amazed by how clean everything was (including the menus, which usually tend to be neglected by Indian restaurants). Me and the team really tried to try a variety of options on the menu from Veg to non-veg and everything that we tried was really good. The Herbed Cheese Sticks really stood out on the veg options as well as the Chicken Cheese Balls on the non-veg. I was disappointed that they did not have a good selection of beers as many of the beers that are listed on the menu were not available. The one place that can use a lot of improvement is the service, sadly that was a little bit of a struggle until the manager got involved.
For 3 consecutive nights I asked for 1 of 3 of the cheapest beers on the menu. I was informed that each, in turn was not available due to "delivery problems". This is a well known scam, operated in most major cities, in order to force customers to buy higher priced drinks. Beware! If challenged, there is no doubt in my mind that there would be absolutely no proof of any delivery failures.I would call upon other disgruntled consumers to hold these people to account and challenge them.
A good hangout place to chill with a few beers, this casual restaurant has an interesting menu as well. Although they have a full fledged bar menu with some interesting signature cocktails , we tried their draught beers . Both White Owl Diablo and White Owl Ace were impressive.Their Bacon bits and mushrooms Murph and Murphies Pork Belly grills were both filling and quite tasty. The service was good and prompt- the Manager himself came out to clarify and confirm the credit card deal which we used since the waiting staff was not too sure.Their outdoor and indoor seating areas are suitable for both big groups and the general buzz and atmosphere in this place is quite good. Altogether a good place to chill out in Koregaon area.
