Insider Tips

  • Citrus has a whole page of home style food. For those who are on a long stay at the hotel, they could try Cafeteria Ka Khana, which is the same food that is served to their staff. It is pretty good and fairly priced
  • The restaurant smells citrusy to go with their name. It is the signature room perfume used by Lemon Tree Hotels
  • The chef is a very friendly person so you could ask him to whip up a special dish for you.

This is the only restaurant in the Lemon Tree Hotel which is a pretty large hotel so it caters to the house guests also along with the local customers. That is also the reason why it is open from 6.30 am to 11.30 pm. As one enters, one sees the interiors which are interestingly done up. On the walls, one can see tiny sized white and black t-shirts framed with funny or catchy slogans. A different kind of décor. This theme continues on the table mats which has nice anecdotes, jokes, cartoons and funny sayings done up colourfully, so while you wait for the food you can spend time reading the table mats. The food is fairly okay but the prices are definitely on the higher side so it makes you feel the pinch. Opt for their À la carte menu as the buffet is pricey and does not offer a lot of variety. Also, buffets tend to have many items on the menu but not gourmet food as it tries to cater to everyone. A must try here is the fusion pasta which they have created in Citrus Café. Try their Chicken Makhani Penna Rigate or their Kheema Rojan Josh Spaghetti. These distinct North Indian flavours work amazingly well with the pasta. Do try it, as you will enjoy the fusion.

It was average. Nothing special to mention. Can’t go with so much of expectations. Number of options were limited and food was okay.

Total Terrible

Staff members are not professional & no buddy is bothered about reputation of hotal... Food is very bad and not picking my call when i complaint for this i ordered chilly paneer & Pineapple juice but chily paneer is vary salted and not cooked properly / in Pineapple juice they mixed 99% of water thats why that juice is very bitter in taste. I never use this hotel in future.

Average Food

Situated on the lobby level of Hotel Lemon Tree, patronized mainly by business visitors at the Hotel. Great place to dine. The decor is good and very innovative. The restaurant is also good for couples as couple table are at quite a distance. It has a waterfall which is very nice. The food and service is also good. Tried their Mac n Cheese pasta. Loved it. Other dishes were also good and well served. Only it takes time to serve but worth a wait. Ambience was good; service was nice, buffet spread was nice. The main course was really nice and enjoyable. Dessert was just okay; only one item was to be appreciated. Fruits saved the day. Salads were okay. But the continental part and Oriental etc. were not good.
