Desi Rasoi offers its diners two forms of meals at all times. You can opt for the buffet or decide to go a la carte. I scanned the buffet and found that it had most of the usual suspects in the form a soup, two kinds of starters, rotis with a selection of 3-4 side dishes and some rice, followed by some desserts. Works very well for corporate groups and kitty parties which seem to be frequent here. We opted to go the a la carte way and order some butter naans and some plain rotis. The restaurant is very generous with their butter and if you like that, you will love the naans. We had a paneer tikka masala and a dum aloo to go with it. While the Paneer Tikka was good without being great, the Dum Aloo packed in a good deal of flavour, largely from the bhuna masala and the finishing off with methi leaves. We also ordered their Rajasthani thali which comes with the works – dal bhaati choorma, rice, rotis, sabzis and the like.
People are very friendly and Amazing food. Best part is the ambiance. Definitely a place for family or business treat. Would love to visit again.
Worst food ever.. have never seen a restaurant which served cold food in buffets...food wasn’t even tasty.. only pani puri and Gulab jamun was good.. don’t recommend it to any one
Worst Experience Ever.. Food taste was not good and the food was not at all hot.. Waste of money.. Will never visit this plc.
The food was not upto the mark. We had asked for a la carte and ordered for paneer gravy and Desi rasoi special dal. The gravy and dal both where horrible although restaurant staff had said it was the best. The good thing was they replaced the gravy immediately after we complained and brought a better one. I would not recommend this to others from food perspective.
This restaurant has very good ambience and light music playing. They have buffet system. Pure veg restaurant. Good for groups. Taste is good. Value for money.
