  • If you like spicy drinks, 'The Flint' is something you should try. With Vodka, Guava Juice, Jalapeno, brine water and mint, it is a good one in my books

  • Do try the 'Hed Phad Medmamuang' – a mix of different mushrooms tossed in a Thai sauce, with Cashew nuts

Stepping into Nevermind, there are so many things that will catch your eye. For one, it is not like the expansive places that have become signature Bangalore these days. Spread across a single floor, it has instead, a number of seating options that give you many options depending on the mood you are in. The igloos give you privacy in the middle of a busy weekend, the curtained sections are perfect for date night, the semi-outdoors if you do not like being inside and of course regular seating spread over enough area to ensure you have your personal space. Straight up, the drinks are fabulous here – the bartender certainly knows balance and flavours. They also have a small G&T segment. The 'Jaggery Mojito' jumps out at you from the menu and the combination of White rum, mint, lime, spiced jaggery syrup and soda is a good one. A more citrus based one would be the 'Island Escape', with Malibu, orange crush and pineapple juice. A good brandy cocktail after a long while for me was the 'Dreamer of Dreams', with brandy, coconut syrup and cherry bitters. The food is an interesting mix. If soup is your thing, then the 'Tom Kha', as well as the 'Korean Noodle Soup', are good bets. Among the starters, the 'Chicken Filo Parcel with a Moroccan Chicken Filling' and the 'Lychee Kebab' are lovely choices. Vegetarians could try the 'Tandoori Achari Brocolli'. The 'Grilled Yogurt' and 'Cheese Cakes' as well as the 'Slow Cooked Honey Chilli Pork' are nice. The 'Filipino Shrimp Tempura' goes well with your cocktails. 'Prawn Suimai' and 'Chicken Dimsums', good made better with the dipping sauces they come with. Heading into the mains, the 'Udon with Salmon' is a lovely dish. And, I loved the 'Duck Rendang' and 'Thai Jungle Beef Curry'. Paired with 'Jasmine Rice', they hit the spot really well. End with a 'JD Mud Pie' and you can go home seriously happy
