Replete with ornate columns, a high ceiling and the expansive feel of a grand hall, Shang Palace excites when one enters through the long corridor. Plush wood panelling and handsome columns are evocative of an imperial Chinese courtyard. By far, the major mainstay Chinese restaurant in Bengaluru and just the place to go to if you are looking for a variety of authentic Chinese. This upscale restaurant features the most decadent spare ribs and fancy cocktails and the 'Roasted Beijing Duck' here is always on my order list. A plus point is that Shang palace delivers consistently good food on its selection of set menus too. Recommendations go all out for the 'Hunan Steamed Fish', 'Cumin Fried Lamb' and 'Spicy Crab'. Other highlights include the 'Yu Xiang Style Eggplant' and a sumptuous 'Dimsum' offering. The service is professional and efficient.
