Elegant décor, delicate flavours and a beautiful choice of Chinese, Japanese and Thai cuisines make Shao at Hotel Park Plaza an ideal place to go for a peaceful lunch or a romantic dinner. The mushroom-shaped lampshades do much to add to the mood lighting at the restaurant. For an Oriental food lover, the Shao offers a delectable spread. Try their Hainan chicken, a variety of dim sums, Shao phad Thai, chung king vegetables, wok-fried Sichuan mushroom, coconut seafood and rice noodle broth among others in the menu. Their bowl meals are recommended. In desserts, the date pancake is a very popular choice.
The food was delicious - especially the Singapore noodles and the banana dessert with coconut ice cream. Anjana provided excellent service!
The pork belly and Singapore noodles were phenomenal. We also loved the Cantonese Fried Lobster. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Anjana especially was very helpful and made sure our drinks were full and brought us food very quickly. She told us about some of the regions in India and it was fun to talk to her.
Anjana has made the dinner awesome for our group. The food here is amazing. Pork Belly is awesome, Cantoneze fried lobster tastes Great.
