This is one of those few kid-friendly places that never fails to please. A sticker menu book for children, with dishes that are not run-of-the-mill, you have brownie points from me right there. Coming to the adults, their floral infusions are one I never tire of – the 'Kiwi', 'Cantaloupe', 'Jasmine' and 'Vodka' is one and the 'Smoked Melon Martini', as well as the 'Peach and Plum Martini', almost always feature for me. Always check with the bartender on what his latest infusions are. Every season throws up something new. The all-day breakfast aside, some good starters here are the 'Crunchy Mozzarella Fritters with Cheese Powder'. The 'Smoked Black Pepper Chicken' and the 'Bacon Wrapped Potatoes' are good choices too. I am not a fan of the average Sweet Corn Soup, but the 'Roasted Sweet Corn with Sour Cream and Truffle oil' is brilliant as is the 'Slow Roast Plum Tomatoes plus Lemongrass'. Smokehouse is one of those few places that does salads the size of main courses – the 'SHD Tomato and Bocconcini Salad', the 'Pear and Mango Chilli Emulsion', the 'Smoked Chicken Caesar' are all brilliant. Coming to the mains, there are just so many to choose from – the 'Lean tenderloin with grilled veggies and some pickled ones too is a beauty when it is done to medium rare perfectly. The 'Smoked Lamb Burger' is also a decadent indulgence – all meat, and robust. The 'Wild Mushroom Risotto' is a favourite and is one I will not get bored of. The 'Three-way Polenta Cake' and 'Bean and Chickpea Stew' are quite heartening. They have a long list of desserts too (always check for specials) – the 'Roasted Almond Ganache Torte', the 'Flourless Chocolate Fudge' and the 'White Chocolate with Lemon' as well as the 'Philly and Plum Cheesecake' are top choices.
It was our 31st marriage anniversary and my daughter, living in Bangalore took us to this restaurant. On entering this restaurant the Royal appearance, the behavior of the staff members will definitely impress you. Even after 9 P.M., the restaurant was heavily packed. Thus initially we were given a small table for three. However, after some time the manager himself turned up and told us that one better place had been arranged for us. Naturally, we were delighted. Here, my daughter had the lead role and she ordered something like Chicken Periphery for me while my wife went for burger and my daughter for pasta. I normally avoid taking chicken, since I don’t feel it tasty. The chicken periphery, so tasty it was, changed my impression on chicken and I enjoyed till last morsel. Both my wife and daughter too enjoyed their food. Finally, I must appreciate the excellent approach of the staff members of this restaurant. Thank you all.

This place is a wonderful place to have a fine dining experience. The decor here is beautifully done with mostly white being the theme. The prices tend to be bit on the higher side but for the taste and options you get here its totally worth it.
I visited this place for my anniversary. The place had a great ambience food was fabulous. Staff were freay. They ensured we r comfortable. The food was up to the mark. Nice place to visit with family and friends.
I have been to this place at least thrice so far and it never disappointed me. I always feel the place is elite, vibrant and happening. The decor for this place is hutke which is what I like. The taste of food is excellent. I had salads and the quantity is really filling. I also had a soup, pizza as well as pasta. I am a vegetarian person and they have a good variety though a bit limited compared to non-vegetarians. Those who love to try new tastes, I will certainly recommend this place. The place is a bit expensive. But I think that's what makes this place a elite.
