The best South Indian restaurant in India; there, I said it. Let me spell it out for you – the food is better than Dakshin (allegedly, it is an unacknowledged inspiration). At the moment however, Southern Spice stands out from everyone else, not only for its consistently outstanding food, but also the distinct air of chic sophistication, varnished on quintessentially South Indian motifs. The best way to sample food at Southern Spice is to order their unlimited thalis. With almost a dozen permutations, there is something for everyone, including the wine-paired, 30-course Maha Virundhu.
