For those who love food with Indian and regional accents such as crunchy Okra, Anglicized Khichdi, Shami Kababs, Malabar Paranthas, Muttom Railway Curry, Fish Cake- Anglow is actually a place to be. In fact ,some of the food which is served here seems to just melt in the mouth.
The presentation of food which is served at Anglow pleases everyone who comes here to eat. Your taste buds are sure to be tantalized with the flavors which will touch your mouth. The décor of the place is not overpowering. The place is dimly lit and you will usually hear a playlist of 90’s break up songs when you visit here.
The staff at Anglow is extremely polite and courteous. They are dressed neatly so you actually get a very good feel once you step in here. .In fact, even if you have a special request they will go ahead to accommodate the same. The waiters and the kitchen staff are quite in sync so the waiting time for a meal is not too much. Anglo-Indian cuisine was basically developed during the period when British ruled India. It is a fusion cuisine so you will see lot of people who like to experiment with their food coming here for a meal.. The place is without any doubt a perfect paradigm of uniqueness, creativity and boldness.
The pricing of food is very genuine as compared to other eating joints in the capital. So, if you are in mood for a delectable meal with some good music to serenade your ears visit Anglow Café which is located in Khan Market in Central Delhi. It is a nice place where you get an opportunity to try out so many different dishes. You will not at all be disappointed if you come here for a dining experience. Book a table well in advance with us, lest you will have to go through disappointed as this place is usually very crowded especially during the weekends.
- Check out the platters if you want to sample a variety of small plates and I suggest picking 'Dinner Rolls' with your main course curries unless you are prepared to roll up the sleeves
- While the bar’s whiskey rack is eye-catching, I was quite impressed by the sincerity of aroma and flavour in Anglow’s cocktails like 'Ginger Fume' and 'Anglow Spice'
- Ask for a table upstairs – it is livelier and feels more spacious. The upper floor benefits from the break-out balcony and pulls in patrons with its airier vibe
