It is a restaurant where vegetables and condiments bring thrust to every dish and not the meat. The steady radiance of every menu item, be it the salads or thoke or the soups or hincho, comes by way of fresh produce, both crunchy and holding their texture. The restaurateurs seem invigorated by the challenge of conjuring up a complete no-meat menu for Indian diners where the contours of flavours are distinct. Already a rage is the Samuza Hincho or samosa soup where the samosa is served in a tangy soup with accompaniments of cabbage, carrot and capsicum. Equally popular are the salads, most refreshing of which is the Raw Mango Salad/Tayat Thi Thoke, where you will find filaments of raw mango jumbled with roasted red chilli, crushed peanuts, lettuce and brown onion. The flavours of the menu are all amplified with just the right touch of condiments and culinary wizardry. Do veer from your regular diet to try the Pyan Boo Palata where a creamed mash of corn with bright flashes of curry powder is leavened by coconut cream, to be mopped up by paratha shreds. Equally interesting are the grilled sticky rice in banana leaf parcels that come with a choice of fillings like mushrooms, raw mango and what have you to leave a lingering smoky aftertaste.

Outstanding !

If anyone has doubts that there are varieties in vegetarian restaurants to meat eaters to enjoy - one must visit Burma Burma. My hubby is a meat eater and he thoroughly relished every dish he tried, as did the rest of us vegetarians. There are so many delicate flavours that come together in a beautiful medley of preparations presented to savour. This is a wonderful gem of a place and now one of my all-time favs. Hope to visit on my next trip to Delhi.

Outstanding

It was my first visit. Frankly I prefer restaurants which serve meats and therefore this vegetarian place was never in focus. But once I had finished with the lunch I knew this is a place I will frequent. Besides the world class khaosuey - excellent consistency of the soup, balanced spices, well thought out complements and no fuss ingredients - the place has a character of its own. The service was top class. Excellent experience. Will keep going.

Amazing variety of flavors that satisfy even a carnivore

This is now one of our all time favorite restaurants. Everyone in our group had different tastes (veg and non veg) and yet we were all amazed and satisfied. We stumbled across Burma Burma by accident when looking for The Great Kabab Factory (which we think is in the mall next door?). One person in our group is a carnivore who thinks of vegetarian fare as a side dish but Burma Burma made all of us equally happy. We love spicy food and some of the dishes are spicy for a Western palate (we were warned) and it was great. Some dishes were not spicy so they could cater to that as well (the only thing I would say they can not cater to is if you want bland food because spicy or not, it is all flavorful). For protein we chose different tofu options, and burmese falafel (we didn't try the mock meat so I can't comment on that). The appetizers were served so that each of us could have a taste. The sampler of salads was delicious. The accompanying sauces and toppings and lime were largely unnecessary because the dishes already had just the right combination of flavors. The bubble tea reminded us a bit of a milkshake and was not very large, which turned out to be a good thing since we ordered a lot of food! The hot tea was delicious and with a lovely presentation. The decor and ambiance is entirely different from what you would expect from a restaurant in a shopping mall but you are immediately transported to Burma; don't be put off by the mall location, the quality of the food defies its exterior location. Great service and great experience overall!

Refreshingly different cuisine

We visited this restaurant in Saket after reading great reviews on trip advisor. We wanted vegetarian meal fully. And it the perfect place for us interesting menu with great soups, samosa but Burma style, salads, and desserts were fabulous. The presentation is very classy and attractive. Just one specific comment is: the food is relatively hot, even when you order mild chilly food. Ambience is very charming. And it's very popular and was quite full in the month of July dinner time. I'm sure you'll a great meal there. Do visit this place.

Seriously good food and great service. Don't miss out on the tea. This restaurant seems to do everything well.
