This restaurant has a chequered history. When the hotel was part of the Aman chain, it was a high-priced dining room with a swish, modern sushi counter. Ever since the property parted ways with the Aman, the pretensions have gone, prices have come down and the food has actually improved. The menu is largely Indian and seeks to replicate comforting home flavours with a minimum of fuss. But it is still more of a hotel dining room than a restaurant for outsiders.
