The parent branch of this sophisticated eatery is located on the ground and first floor of a building in the tony Chanakyapuri market. In particular, the ground floor has the appearance of a restaurant that serves international food, with its white-and-silver colour scheme. The customers are a mix of old loyalists and diplomats who live in the area, but the spice level has not been dumbed down (though it can be, upon special request).
Very tasty food... always rush so better pre book... good ambience. Thoroughly enjoyed the food there.
If you want to be at place where you can sit And hv fine meal while having a warm chat with your loved ones. , this is the place. Nowadays most of restaurants play loud music which sometimes is really irritating. But this place gives you soft and warm ambience, good service and tasty food. Away from hustle bustle of busy places of Delhi. A mus visit for quality food and some quality time with your loved ones.
Great atmosphere inside well attended by many different people. Excellent service with knowledge waiters.
Very nice food and service - lovely ambiance and professional, good service. We found it expensive but very nice for a special meal.
We had lunch in another restaurant from the same owner, Lutens I believe, exactly the same menu. The ambiance is good, the food is great, we enjoyed a KingsFisher beer with peanuts and some Indian spicy food. Recommended.
There are some restaurants that feel like coming home, maybe because they have been around for a long time and they always manage to hit the spot just right, on every visit. They bring back the sense of nostalgia and comfort with their food and flawless service. One of the old favourites of the Delhi townies is ‘Lazeez Affaire’, an elegant fine dining restaurant that is very much part of the local food community. Tucked on Malcha Marg Market in very posh Chanakyapuri, Lazeez Affaire reminds us old good wholesome food served in neat classy surroundings. The restaurant has a timeless kind of appeal that fits in with high end crowd that visits the place regularly. Their old loyalists consists of diplomats, bureaucrats and ambassadors living in the area, who have found their love for Indian cuisine but in a toned down manner, a forte of Lazeez Affaire.
Now talking about the décor of Lazeez Affaire, we find the place to a happy surprise. It’s one of those feel good kind of spots that remains as attractive over the years. You may walk in the room after so long and not feel any kind of difference what so ever, such is the beauty of this place. The timeless appeal of Lazeez Affaire reflects throughout the space. Walls are washed in pale subtle tone of ivory covering the beaded wall panels including the ceiling. Peek-a-boo lights highlights every other corner, lending a soft hazy glow to the room. The entire room is done in soft white tone and the only burst of colour that happens, is through the coloured crystal ware gracing the tables. They succeed in achieving a classy, subtle and contained kind of ambience.
Give Lazeez Affaire a skip if you are looking for a lively time. The ambience is quite hush-hush here. It’s one of those pricier places with which you can never go wrong. At Lazeez Affaire they celebrate the nuance of North-Indian and Mughlai cuisine. Indulge yourself by starting with, kalmi kebab, dahi kebab, mutton chapli, mushroom kurkure, sharabi raan, kakori kebab, hara bhara kebab, fish tikka and tandoori prawns. Mop up the curries with kandhari naan or go the biryani way. Tuck into fish curry, banarasi dum aloo, Pakistani chicken korma, pindi chana, murg tikka butter masala and bhuna gosht. Accompany the meal with your chosen drink from their impressive bar menu.
