About East Delhi, Delhi NCR
Some major localities of East Delhi are Mayur Vihar Phase-3, Preet Vihar, Patparganj and Laxmi Nagar. Most of the localities are residential but East Delhi also has a strong commercial sector. It is dotted with several small sized shopping malls, which houses some great restaurants and retail showrooms. These malls are the constant source of joy to this area as it is not possible for the residents to travel across the city every time they want to grab dinner or catch a movie. Mahagun Mall, East Delhi Mall, V3S Mall and Cross River Mall are ever busy. Besides the shopping arcades East Delhi receives a lot of footfall for its other attractions. Badi Jama Masjid, Akshardham Temple, Sanjay Lake, Delhi State Cancer Institute and Guitar School Guitarmonk are all part of East Delhi charms. The area is well-accessible through metro, DTC and cabs.

About North Indian Cuisine
Chef Hemant Oberoi has put ‘Masala Art’ on the map of culinary excellence by his keen sense of spices owing to his Punjabi roots. A part of Taj Palace, Masala Art offers to its diners a diverse menu of Indian delicacies with a certain style. ‘Jamavar’ at The Leela Palace is special because of the personal attention it receives from Mrs. Leela Nair. The mouth-watering Malayali food resulting of such dedication adds an extra oomph to the extensive menu. Jamavar is stunning and very opulent. The North Indian fare gains momentum by the arrival of some pretty great restaurants like ‘Dvar Indian Restaurant’. Guided under the sharp eye of Chef Rakesh Sethi, Dvar is a hit amongst the local foodies. Being generously spacious and elegant helps too.
