About Faridabad, Delhi NCR
Faridabad of today is world apart from dusty dry patch of factories and warehouses. The city of today is well-connected through skyways, metro and string of comfy cabs. Visiting Faridabad is not such a headache now. The most famous attraction of Faridabad is Surajkund, a 10th century water reservoir built by Tomar king Surajpal and is about 8 km from South Delhi. Besides being a historical site Surajkund is more renowned for its annual ‘Surajkund International Crafts Mela’, which is a melting pot of global handicrafts and culture. Another of Faridabad’s charms is Badkhal Lake, fringed by Aravalli hills and is Haryana government’s latest pet tourist project for development. The city has a lot to offer and day by day is growing into a better version of itself.
