SET’ Z located in emporio at vasant kunj is a fine dining establishment which reeks class. Very swish and upmarket, its location alone can guarantee its success. The interiors are done in brown tones running from the ceiling to the floor. The ceiling is my favourite part. It’s a trellis of wood running from one end to the other. The furniture is sleek and edgy. Food stations are set up on the benches on the side of the restaurant for buffets. Evening is the best time to visit the place when it is trending with upper class. The outdoor sitting area is the best part of the restaurant. Intimate and romantic it seems like touching the sky. Each table is lit by lanterns throwing a golden glow around. The staff is as polished and attentive as they are supposed to be.
The restaurant is good at what it does and that’s serving multi cuisine. The menu brags Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Indian and European. The soups and salads are made using only the freshest of ingredients. The soups have oriental, Italian and indian influence. Hints of chilli oil, kaffir lime and basil running through the aromatic broth. Fresh rocket leaves mixed with goat cheese and dressed with sweet balsamic vinegar are so fantastic that it is unbelievable. Chinese appetizers and dimsums have found a place in the menu too.
