Possibly one of the most influential restaurants to open in Delhi in this decade, Set’z offers five-star quality service and food in glamorous surroundings on top of the upmarket Emporio mall. Ever since It opened, it has demonstrated that standalones could take on the deluxe hotels and win without charging five star prices. Designed by Tokyo’s Super Potato group, this is a large good-looking restaurant with seven different kitchens all turning out different cuisines ranging from Oriental (Japanese, Thai and Chinese) to Indian (both North Indian and coastal cuisine) and good European. There’s a lunch buffet but dinner, when the restaurant heaves with trendies, is the time to go.
The food at this restaurant was amazing.....Specially the starters.....The ambience of the restaurant was also very refreshing and vibrant....I had a great evening with my friends at this place
..I would say it is a perfect getaway place for some great delicacies.....One can also try the desserts which are on offer.....
It's nice ambience, very open, spacious and feel good place. A wide variety of food and drinks to choose from. Courteous service. Although beer I ordered wasn't chilled. This is rather annoying and does happen at many restaurants. I do not understand why can't they meet the basis requirement for beer. Anyway food and service was good. We enjoyed the evening.
This is one of my favorite restaurants. Everyone must go for the Sushi Platter which is exceptional. A must try is also the yogurt ice - cream.
A special thank you to Shobhit (Restaurant Manager) who always ensures that even with all the rush the service is exceptional and top notch. It is always a the pleasure to visit this restaurant. Some great experiences. Thank you to the entire "Sets" team.
Heard a lot about this restaurant's class and its premium appeal . Tried the chef's special Sushi platter which was made to perfection. My husband sipped Sangria and I enjoyed their signature mock tail made with Kiwi and Kafir Lime.
The main attraction is the variety of food offered, which lets everybody choose something of their liking.
will recommend everyone to go there once for sure
An amazing evening spent at this place. The staff was courteous and helpful. Tried the chef's special Sushi platter which was made to perfection. My husband sipped Sangria and I enjoyed their signature mock tail made with Kiwi and Kafir Lime. For main course we thought of trying their North Indian offering ( I know after Japanese, this wasn't the ideal choice but I was craving for Biryani ). Had Biryani with mirchi ka sala and raita and tawa paneer masal with tandoori roti, though the food was very rich but tasted great!!
Thanks team for giving us a memorable evening to remember.
SET’ Z located in emporio at vasant kunj is a fine dining establishment which reeks class. Very swish and upmarket, its location alone can guarantee its success. The interiors are done in brown tones running from the ceiling to the floor. The ceiling is my favourite part. It’s a trellis of wood running from one end to the other. The furniture is sleek and edgy. Food stations are set up on the benches on the side of the restaurant for buffets. Evening is the best time to visit the place when it is trending with upper class. The outdoor sitting area is the best part of the restaurant. Intimate and romantic it seems like touching the sky. Each table is lit by lanterns throwing a golden glow around. The staff is as polished and attentive as they are supposed to be.
The restaurant is good at what it does and that’s serving multi cuisine. The menu brags Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Indian and European. The soups and salads are made using only the freshest of ingredients. The soups have oriental, Italian and indian influence. Hints of chilli oil, kaffir lime and basil running through the aromatic broth. Fresh rocket leaves mixed with goat cheese and dressed with sweet balsamic vinegar are so fantastic that it is unbelievable. Chinese appetizers and dimsums have found a place in the menu too. The Chinese speciality peking duck braised in plum juice is offered and eaten with great enjoyment. Kebab and mezze platter which signifies northern india can be shared around the table.
While you are happily appreciating the first course the chefs in the kitchen are creating the masterpieces of the mains. Dishes from every country could be found here. I am not kidding You can ask the chef to prepare you something off menu and you will be delighted by the selection. Wok will turn just plucked basil, ginger, chilli, lemongrass into food of gods. Steamed seabass fillet with ginger is one such example. The European section has recently caught seafood and lamb chops done is most beautiful pink way. Thai curries are aromatic and also therapeutic. Mutton simmered in coconut milk is the indian way to go. Divine! For your sweet delight mister, house makes homemade gelato in various flavours. Parsi kulfi for you if you are in mood for exotic spices. Over all the place is expensive but a haven for gastro-fanatics.
