This CP, New Delhi outlet has now made its entry into the Gurgaon market, located on the fourth floor of Ambience Mall. The restaurant takes you on a journey of flavours from Kabul to Chittagong. Food and beverages are served in glistening bell metal utensils while servers are dressed in Raj-era livery. If you opt for a full-course lunch or dinner buffet, a mind-boggling variety of starters will be despatched to your table post-haste. Non-vegetarian starters include 'Chicken Burrah Kebab' and 'Mahi Taj' while 'Aananas Khatta Meetha' and 'Achari Khumbh' feature in the vegetarian starter section. The main course menu is equally sprawling with the 'Baluchi Gosht Biriyani' standing out. At regular intervals, freshly prepared 'Chaats' come to you, much like palate cleansers. More than a dozen varieties of desserts are up for grabs here and you can sample everything from 'Amritsar’s Gur kulfi', 'Rasbhari', 'Dilkhush', 'Imarti', 'Paan Kulfi', 'Afghani Burf', 'Mathura Peda' and 'Sheer Khurma'. I bet you will not regret them one bit.
We visited as a group of five for dinner. It was a slightly long walk inside the enormous Ambience Mall. The restaurant is dimly lit with well spaced seating. Their mocktails are good, and I especially enjoyed the Spiced Guava drink. The starters are plentiful and well done. The main course and desserts were also up to the mark, though, the dessert section could have had a wider spread with more soufflés, pudding etc. Great food for the price. Recommended.
We visited the restaurant on a Friday evening for buffet dinner with family. The meal options are endless, which allows everyone to savor their preferred dishes. We started with a round of assorted starters. Most of them were high on spices. The mains also included a variety of dishes, which again were high on spices. The team did bring butter chicken for me, but the quality wasn't the best. Dessert options were good. The service is good and the ambiance is relaxed.
Very slow service, options for a sit down buffet need to be wide and spread Food wasn't cooked well I love GT road in CP, much better than this one.. or i shouldn't be even comparing! Not going to GT road, Amby mall
We went for the office party at this place. The food was good. I specifically liked the Chole and paneer. The starters were also nice. The Mojito need a makeover. The ambience is different but in a good way.
They lure you in with the facade of a concept restaurant and serve you mediocre food. I am not saying that I was expecting to have some innovative dishes. Yes. I was there for Dal Makhani, Butter Chicken and Tikkas but even they were soooo mediocre and not worth it. All the gravies in the buffet taste similar. The tandoori chicken was dry. There are several places in Delhi which are so much more worth your time and money.
