New kid on the block, Unplugged Courtyard has taken Connaught Place by storm with its delicious cocktails and delectable food. It is tucked right in the middle of bustling shops and pubs so it is easy to miss, make sure you have clear directions to reach the place. The décor is industrial with seating that is so comfy, that you are likely to spend an endless amount of time seated there, gorging on their food and drinks. If you are waiting to be seated, enjoy a drink or two at the swanky bar before you shift to the main seating area. With quirky cocktails and comforting food on offer, Unplugged is your best bet on a Friday night or any other day of the week!
Slow service, the delivery of the mains was 15 minutes apart, the food was cold on arrival. We sent a pizza back as it was uncooked and they didn’t offer an alternative and still charged for it - then argued with us when wanting a refund. The manager had to get involved and it was quite awkward. Full beer menu but the only beer in stock is Simba which is not on the menu. We were then overcharged. All in all, a great place to avoid. We are here for one night in Delhi. Not feeling so impressed after a mega trip otherwise around India.
A great place to hang out as well as shoot at (you'll find some quirky backdrops and props). Went here for a summer food festival that was organized. And again, for a shoot and meet n' greet. The food was tasty (some even unique) and so was the ambience. The only negative feedback would be that the service is a bit slow, because of which the food sometimes becomes soggy and that's not desirable at all. But we complained to the staff, and they immediately replaced it so I would say a big thumbs up for quick response! Update: Bummer that the terrace is closed! Read some great reviews about Unplugged Courtyard and hence wanted to try it out. We were a group of 4 people and wanted to sit out but it was all reserved. The food seemed overpriced for the quantity and also quality. The menu had so many options but half of the options weren't available. The drinks menu had so many good options in case of beer and I was shocked to know that only Simba was being served, no other beer was available. Later when we asked the menu for dessert it was said that only brownie with ice cream is available. How do you expect your guests to go satisfied when the only dessert you serve is brownie with ice cream and only Simba for beer on a Friday night. I had so much hopes from this place, was heavily disappointed. The only saving grace was ambiance. Tip: Reserve a seat in the outside seating area beforehand if you plan on going.
Very nice open place in heart of CP. Situated in middle circle. This place has got a feel 👌.. loved the concept and music is too good. Food is quite exceptional. Loved their Mutton Seekh and Malai Tikka. Very humble and courteous staff.
huge landscaped courtyard with a beautuful rooftop which serves interesting hookah menu and is a much sought after place in posh cannaught place. Its located near Odeon, can be easily spotted and witnesses some electatic gigs during weekeneds. An evening here with friends started with "iced tea" and "ganna chicken" which was bbq chicken over cane skewers.. Served with interesting dip... Next was "ambarsari chilli machchi ...hip" a u.k style fusion of fried fish with hinglish dip "All is well sabchanga" were spring rolls fusion done in a superb manner with an interesting filling of potatoes, corn and spicy mix.It was super cheesy. "Susst malai kabab" were soya chunks cooked to perfection in a milky sauce served with buttered onions. "Dilli devils" pizza was yummy.Minimalistic toppings of chicken chunks, chillies and onions on a perfect crisp base. "Mutton shish kabab" was an intetesting lebanese indian fusion...with bite soft kababs with lebanese flavours cooked almost like shish tou wook... "Fruity virgin mojito" is one of the best mojitos I've ever had.The sweetness wasn'toverpowering the drink and the fruits gave a bite and refreshing flavour to it. Overall...its a must visit place for its spectacular semi formal yet classy courtyard, excellent service and delectable food. The ambience is so warm that the hours flew in no time.
Off late, we have been visiting and hearing about a number of rooftop restaurants in Delhi NCR. But here is something unique, as Unplugged Courtyard in Connaught Place, Delhi is the first of its kind courtyard restaurant. A neem tree is planted right in the centre of the courtyard, with brick adorned walls. Unplugged Courtyard is a great place to unwind during the day and a hot spot for gigs and parties at night. With a blend of perfect lighting and plush greenery, this is the go to spot for all those living around or away from Connaught Place.
Dishes at Unplugged Courtyard fall under the category of North Indian cuisine, specialising in tikkas, kababs, mains, mocktails and cocktails. To name a few, you can try butter chicken tikka, ganna chicken, Alfredo pasta, juicy chicken burger, watermelon sangria and nutty Jack. The pani puri shot deserves special mention, as you can begin your meal with this.
Apart from exciting food and drinks, Unplugged Courtyard also serves hookah flavours that can be enjoyed in groups or in couples. If you are not in a hurry to finish your meal, you can enjoy them with some snacks and drinks.
