Zanotta is the modern Italian fine-dining restaurant at the Leela Ambience. This restaurant, with cool marble flooring and large bay windows, offers a bird’s-eye view of the traffic and lights below and is an elegant dining destination. The wine library flanks the restaurant and the open kitchen has seating for four diners. The wine list comprises 1500 wines from all over the world, including Italian, French, Chilean and Australian. The menu is innovative featuring dishes like the grilled prawns with black risotto and mascarpone. The food remains authentic Italian but Zanotta has embarked on a new culinary philosophy and is doing away with the fussiness that was associated with the restaurant in the past.
We had a chicken pasta, prosciutto, and a couple of mocktails. It was an amazing dining experience, and could have asked for more. The service by Rohit was top-notch as well. Will recommend people to come here.
It was a great experience. I was served by Mr Rohit. Really delighted by the service. Its a thumps up👍
The food here is undoubtedly fantastic. It is always to an exceptional standard. I highly recommend trying their beetroot risotto and the vanilla cappelletti. The tiramisu is also wonderful. The service is always excellent...shout out to Rohit who has been my waiter on the last two occasions, he is a fantastic chap. The ambience is great and very relaxing.
This restaurant has a wide menu of classic italian dishes. There is a large collection of wine. I had lasangne bolognese, mushroom risotto and both are just awesome.
Some experiences go from very good to average to bad to terrible and then finally get written off. This is one of them. It is indeed sad that a restaurant with very credible reputation now only believes in catering to the non-Indian clientele. That’s a scary reputation to have given their location. We went this weekend to have some authentic Italian food after mustering up the courage after another such instance 6 months ago when they ruined a family birthday celebration. The service standards remain the same if not more southwards. Upendra seems like a new trainee and Abhishek his supervisor. Every query we had, Upendra did not have a response to and kept going back and checking with Abhishek. Abhishek, who was sitting 10 steps away from our table only believed in doing his own business and shoving Upendra away to deal with us as the mediator. Not even once did the supervisor have the sensibility to come and resolve our query. This back and forth continued for a while before we decided to get up and leave. Alas, our last visit to Zanotta after giving up the Leela membership and vowing never to come back again.
