This beautiful eatery is located at the Cyber Hub, Gurgaon. The moment you enter this restaurant you can easily feel the decor is Arabian. It feels as if you are in one of the Arab countries. Olive roots by Zizo will delight you with their signature Mediterranean cuisine and a touch of modern and contemporary Indian food to calm all your cravings. Do order the ‘Mix Sliders’ and ‘Sheesh Tawook Roll’ for the starters. The ‘Mandi Rice’, ‘Lamb Manakish’, ‘Hommous Ras Afor’, ‘Trio Hommous’ go well with their ‘Watermelon Delight’ mocktail.
Regarding a corporate get-together planned for 30th Nov'18 at Cyber hub. Just to reconfirm the arrangements, We met Zizo's restaurant manager on 28th Nov and were shocked to find some glaring discrepancies in their understanding. Despite the confirmation on emails for 5 pm a month before, the RM had incorrect information. Per him, our party will start at 9pm. And he also stated that you have booked another party at 5 for 120 pax. Congratulations for securing a party for 120 Pax with IBM ! It was very in-considerate of zizo to not even inform us about this clash with our party. But I can understand that, it makes perfect business sense to bump a party of 20, to accommodate that of 120! It was very generous of Zizo to offer to comfortably nest us amidst the chaos caused by having ~140 pax inside a restaurant with 80 covers. But I fail understand how Zizo will manage to provide us with a decent space, proper service, space on the dance floor and an audience to the Belly Dancing. Surely, a lack of intelligence on our side for not being able to comprehend this genius setup... It was a very kind gesture from zizo to not say 'No' directly, but make us reject the offer instead. Its only a minor inconvenience for us to get an alternate venue, just a day prior to the party. And it will feel nice informing all the participants about a slight change in the venue. We are really obliged! And as a reward for zizo's exemplary way of honoring their commitment, we have decided to BLACKLIST Z by Zizo for our company.. We have just around 2500 Employees in Cyber City, who will not look at Z by Zizo while planning parties. I'm sure its a negligible loss of opportunity for them. Also, word of such good deeds should be spread around, so we will intimate the Administration fraternity known to us through different networking forums. Al the best!
Went to this place for a quick lunch and catchup with my friend. We ordered lebanese chicken shawarma and veg tortilas.. The shawarma was toooo good.. and also filling.. Just loved it.. However, even though the tortillas tasted yum but were not too good on the presentation.. Also, despite the service being slow the staff was friendly and all smiles.. In all we had a good lunch and will definitely come back for the belly dancing Friday soon..
I am a big fan of Lebanese and Arabic food. So tried this place in hope of getting some authentic taste and now this place is my favorite. I am not salad lover but here i tried Because i like name of this salad. Fattoush is a arabic salad. Cucumber, tomatoes and other veggies with arabic tossed bread. It had Very strong tangy taste of pomegranate dressing that i loved the most. Later i tried this Mixed grilled from their menu. I consist of some delicious kebabs. I really like turkish urfa kebab and half portion ok arayes they were so tasty it is hard to explain. Other items like chicken kebab was also good. Highly recommended for those who want to try every kind of kebabs here. For main course my all time favorite chicken tikka masala. Very rich taste gravy with roasted chicken chunks and some bell peppers. I had cheeze garlic naan with if and for the first time i felt actual cheese in naan. Which made so happy. Amazing food and great service.
One of the best places that serve lebanese cuisine. I preferred the outside seating area considering the lovely weather paired with a cool breeze. They were playing house music in the background that helped build the mood on my lunch date. The staff is extremely courteous and knows the menu well. They were prompt with their service and up to mark with their decorum. The newly introduced menu is worth more than one visits. I started with the Mexican Hummus which was a velvety puree of chick peas with ground lamb, grilled corn and parsley. It was served with fluffy Pita. I dug into the dish and did not stop until it was done. It was delicious with the perfect flavours. The lamb was ground and cooked well. It was topped with corn and parsley. The chick peas were pasted into a divinely tasting puree. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED dish. Chicken Shawarma salad: It consisted of a good proportion of chicken shawarma, mixed lettuce, carrot, nachos with lime dressing and peanut sauce. It was a balance of crunchy and saucy. The peanut sauce imparted flavours that made me savour the dish. A Good Try. Mixed Grill: A platter consisting of Shish Tawook, Iranian Urfa Kebab, Turkish kebab, Turkish Adana kebab, Half Arayes. The Turkish Adana kebab and Iranian Urfa kebabs were my favourite. The lamb was minced well and the flavours came out very well. This kebab was on the less spicy side that made me savour it much more. Too much of chillies make the flavours fade and this didn't happen with the kebabs on the mixed grill. The Iranian Urfa kebab tasted well with the sour cream dip on the side. It was also cooked well and had a very unique flavour to it. The Shish Tawook could have been improved. It had flavours similar to a chicken tikka kebab. The Half Arayes was a half Pita stuffed with kebab. I relished this with the hummus I had ordered earlier. It was a lovely combination. A good try. Prawns in Garlic and Lemon: The prawns were pan fried and tossed in garlic, lemon juice, coriander and arabic chilli paste. The prawns were soft and well marinated. They were easy to bite and were flavourful due to the chilli paste. It is very rare to find well cooked prawns in Gurgaon and I must say I was impressed with the preparation. A good try. I had a few cocktails on the side. The Dark - Dark rum with sour mix spiked with Vanilla and Hazelnut. Liquid Cocaine - House rum, Jagermister, lime juice and soda. The liquid cocaine was on the stronger side. It had a good balance of Jager with rum and passed well as liquid cocaine in terms of its strength. The Dark had a flavour of hazelnut but was on the sour side. Desserts: Lazy Cake and Cheese Kanafeh. The Lazy Cake - Warm lebanese chocolate brownie, chocolate sauce , strawberry. The lebanese chocolate brownie had a hint of biscotti and the chocolate melted in my mouth with every bite. It was a perfect blend of crunch and chocolate with just the right balance of sweetness. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED dish. The Cheese Kanafeh- Lebanese warn dessert with orange blossom syrup. The cheese pudding was topped with crunchy vermicelli. The orange syrup made it slightly tangy and was a good try. Special thanks to Chef Anand for the hospitality and kudos on the new menu. Don't miss out on the items recommended.
