Light And Satisfying Staples This Season

As the temperature soars in summer, the sight of heavy food often puts you off. Light and nutritious food packed with flavours, is what the body craves for. One inviting aspect of summer is a bowl full of fresh salad. As part of a meal, salads are rarely memorable, but a bit of effort can go a long way in revving up an ordinary salad of just leaves. Fresh, local and seasonal produce, herbs and light dressings can bring a salad alive this season. Fruits too can be added to salads to give them a healthy spin. Chefs unleash their creativity with their salad offerings this summer and some exciting and filling options across cuisines can be savoured in Mumbai.
